It's so nice here. I love it. We were all outside this morning, but my spruce trees make me so sad. I didn't notice until they started looking bad, but they have needlecast and bagworms. They aren't supposed to be sprayed for a few more months and I'm feeling anxious to do something about it.
E is 5 months today. I have to get to target soon. H is still sleeping he sleeps in on the weekends but he sleeps in so late it gets annoying. I slept until 9:30 which is awesome though.

My bf got back from being out of town all week. In a terrible mood. I basically told him to fuck off and went to watch movies in the bedroom. And now he's spending all morning at the gym. Even though he didn't go once the whole time he was away. I'm half furious and half relieved that I don't have to deal with him. He goes back to work for a week early Monday. I'm kind of hoping he leaves tomorrow night instead. Things should be easier when he's here, not harder. Do not need third manchild to look after.
heybulldog56 are you sure? I'm still spotting if I pick up DS too many times. I got faked out last time.
My friend is coming over with her son a play date. I might have to put DS in a diaper. Last night he pooped all down the hallway while I was nursing the baby. It was literally a shitshow.
Spring is here today - yay! Big girl is napping, baby girl is about to fall asleep. I think I might go sit on the back porch with a grown up drink while my husband puts our screens back in our windows.

We had swim class this morning with my big girl, and have friends coming to visit this afternoon and they'd staying for dinner. Tomorrow, at her request, I'm taking big girl to CrossFit with me. Thus giving my H another opportunity to try baby A on the bottle. She'll only take one when offer while she's calm/drowsy. Once she lets us know she's hungry, it's too late!

I just put away my maternity clothes in a storage tote in the basement. There were a few things I never got to wear. I have a good feeling I won't ever take those clothes out of basement.

Quiet weekend around here, hope everyone had some nice weather, our Saturday was amazing! Tomorrow is baby's first day at dc, trying to get everything ready tonight. Thankfully I don't have to work a full day and don't have to be in until 10, so won't be super rushed this week. I'm sure it was just a fluke but I put baby down on the ottoman to go use the bathroom. Came back and she was rolling to her stomach! I took pics to document bc this is just ridiculous.
I finally had the motivation, energy, and kid cooperation to start a sewing project. I set everything up, cut my fabric, and then realized I didn't have enough of the iron on interfacing. I'm sure Jo-Ann's, which is a busy and hellish parking lot, is ridiculously busy right now. Just thinking of having to deal with the crazies in that parking lot gives me anxiety.
Totally hectic but successful bday party. Overestimated on the food, so we'll be having muffins and quiche and bagels for a few days lol. 😬
2nd night on Zantac and B did 5.5 hrs for his first stretch. I'm hesitant to say we "fixed" him since it's only been 2 nights, but boy is his sleep so much better!
Last 5 weekdays of leave starting tomorrow. I'm all sorts of emotional. Really trying to savor this time before I'm back into the grind.

ellabee that's great about B's sleep! Hope it's the new normal for you. Question, did his reflux affect nursing? I've felt like my LO may have a little bit of reflux but it seems on/off in her discomfort level. But sometimes she is just awful nursing, pulling off etc Just curious what you've experienced that you decided to get him on meds.

Bs a good nurser, but he over-eats (I think to soothe the acid discomfort). He arches his back after a big feed to try and lengthen his torso. Then when he's not nursing I can see/hear him sorta do this gagging thing where you can tell he's bringing up something and swallowing it back down (or spitting it up) and he cries with the discomfort. Sometimes he's inconsolable for 5-10 minutes after it happens.
At night I'd put him to sleep and 30 minutes later he'd wake up out of discomfort. Even after holding him upright after a feeding for 15 minutes and elevating one side of his bassinet didn't help. At most he'd go like 1.5 hrs so I could tell he wasn't hungry.
I think the pedi was willing to go to meds early with B because his sister had a history of severe reflux (esophagitis diagnosed by scope after blood in spit up and stool), so she trusted my opinion when I said he had similar symptoms.
I'm sorry your LO is having issues too. I hope you're able to find something that works for you.

This weekend has felt busy and relaxing all at once!
Saturday we were up super early for a mini balloon rally for kids and adults with disabilities. There were 13 balloons but it was just windy enough that by 8:30am, only 3 balloons were still up; my FIL's being one of them. He and one of the other 2 pilots waited it out and the wind finally died completely so they were able to give tethered rides to people. It was great to see people who normally can't get out of their walker or wheel chairs be able to go up with my FIL because he has a door on his basket.
After the rally, I got my hair done! I decided I really needed something new and, very nervously mind you, dyed my hair blonde. I've never gone light before and my hair stylist left enough root (since my hair grows out super quick) that it wasn't so much of a shock to see it done. And I love it!
Today we had a birthday party to go to for a kid we've never met (a coworker of H's) so that was interesting on top of us being super late because I thought it started at 11 but no, it started at 10. And since then, it's been relaxing today. No pressure for anything, got to play with my brother's new puppy, and generally haven't done shit lol
rinny; I don't know what needlecast and bagworms are but it doesn't sound pleasant!
heybulldog56, sorry to here about your period returning. Sometimes I wish mine will so it would be easier to TTA but I should be getting an IUD soon and, well, there has been no need for one in this house yet anyhow 🙄
peaseblossom55, can't believe she's 5 months already!! Also 930 would be amazing.
@misddemeanor, I hope he gets his shit together.
silvermelody, I'm sorry your DS pooped down the hallway, but I did lol at shitshow 😂
carrots, kids always seem to love touch a truck events! Was it fire trucks or a bunch of different trucks?
judyblume14, I hope you enjoyed your grown up drink! How did you make out in the open?? I only did 17.5 (modified), and it was my 2nd workout back. Ouch.
ellabee, I'm happy the party was a success! And that B is sleeping so well for you still!
thelittleredm, that balloon rally sounds like so much fun!!
I think we are solidly in the trenches of leap 2. C just finally fell asleep on me after close to 5 hours of fussing. I ended up giving her an oz and a half of fridge boob milk and that seemed to do it, but I'm afraid that maybe some of her longer stretches are starting to affect my supply. I've been able to up my pumping the last few days, but today it just seemed like she was on and off all day and never really satisfied. Hopefully it's just the leap.
We went out to dinner twice this weekend bc my birthday was Friday. Once with baby, once without, and had a great time at both. I sort of enjoy having nursing as my excuse to not drink too much. People were offering to buy me drinks left and right, and I ended up just having 2 on Friday and a glass of wine yesterday. I would've surely had a hangover if it weren't for baby, so that's a nice revelation.

pibblemom - (dear Diary), I almost cried when 17.5 was announced because thrusters are the worst! How about Birthday Thrusters!?!? Hope you had cake!! But I did oookay (13.28). I'm used to doing double unders... So it was actually tricky to slow down to single! For 17.4, I actually beat my score from last year by 15 reps! .3 and .2 were hell and I did horrible. And .1 was a beast since it was also just my second workout back.
