rachydc, maybe our moms need to go out into the wilderness and talk to each other about how skinny their daughters used to be and get it out of their system. They can just stay out there until they are done.
kristhegirl, your MIL's house sounds like the 9th ring of hell with a baby and a toddler. Nope.
Hugs, @ceci8876, I had to have one of those breakdowns last month but at least no one was rude enough to enjoy it. Glad the therapist looks like a good option. Take care of yourself!
EmMilAlly, it sounds you deserve a do-over! Hope your day improved!
yl, that is scary AF. So glad you and kids are okay.
Good news! Henry does not have pink eye! He does have his first ear infection though, which caused the goopey eye. I had NO clue, so I'm really glad we brought him in.
Now I'm just wondering how my H caught pink eye from him? Spoiler alert he doesn't have it! Now how long until my H gets an "ear infection."
yl,Did they catch them? Idiots. People like that are such scum on our civilization.
Update on jury duty: I was right. He got chosen. Sigh. Luckily, he doesn't have to be sequestered. So, we're still on for a raucous night of doing our taxes. We're still waiting on the seller's disclosure; come on people, don't you WANT to sell your house?!?
Thanks, everyone. I didn't realize how much this was bothering me until school got out. Now I'm exhausted and my anxiety is still spiked. I always figured we weren't in danger (I assumed if there was actual danger they wouldn't have left us just goofing off in the room), but it's still super scary.
yl that is terrifying! In glad you are ok. @ceci8876 sending hugs. Those breakdowns are tough but sometimes very necessary. I'm glad you have an avenue to get help.

We got the genetic screening results back today. The genetic counselor called and left a message on my cell this afternoon. Everything came back low risk! So relieved!!
Last time DH wanted to know immediately so I told him over the phone. I was instructed to do the same this time, but I wanted to see the look on his face so I planned to let him listen to the voicemail tonight when we got home. But MIL stopped by right when I got home and DH has no clue I'm about to boil over with the secret and keeps asking her to stay. She finally left after two hours! I was so irritated at the wait by that time but I couldn't blame anyone (but myself). Ugh. Anyway, we are excited and the look on his face was probably worth it all. 😊
