I'm sorry that you're sort of in limbo, but I'm glad you were able to see the heartbeat today. Will you call your OB for a follow-up ultrasound on Monday or did the OB on call at the hospital notify him/her for you?

We dont see OBs here until 27 weeks if you're going the OB route. I have a midwife appt (my intake one on April 11th) and they will likely request a follow up one. If need be, I can go back to emerg between now and then.

DS has pressed every single one of DH's buttons today (just doing his usual toddler bs). I legit told DH to relax and chill out. He's worried about DS behaving once #2 gets here. I personally feel like there's a big difference developmentally between 2 and almost three so I think DS will be fine by the time #2 arrives. It's definitely annoying that DH is being so uptight about it though.

I had to go to a dinner party tonight with DH's friends. This required fake drinking which basically meant me taking a glass of wine and DH chugging it when no one was looking. Fun for him. 😉 luckily it was an early evening because I'm exhausted! Yay for bed.

theloveparade, I did that once with a previous pregnancy. I had a beer that I was pretending to sip, and when people weren't looking, my H would pick it up and chug it. haha It's such a PITA to try to be sneaky when you're not ready to go public yet.

Confession: My H and I haven't had sex since before my transfer, so it's been close to two months. With the on and off spotting I've been having and my loss history, I just can't bring myself to even attempt it yet.

Random: He was teasing me about it this morning, and I started to cry. haha Poor thing. I made him feel really bad.

If you are at an open bar type thing, club soda with lime or ginger ale usually tricks everyone cranberry with a lime spritz isn't bad either.

Oh yeah, I know. Although my friends all know I'm a wine drinker 99% of the time so that one doesn't work around anyone I really know. That's why I had to flake on a work dinner a couple weeks ago. I realized carrying around a club soda masquerading as vodka soda would be a dead giveaway to my (female) work friends.

I guess this is the downside to being such a committed wino? 😉

bethkate and Miss Killjoy I was nice and shared with DS. He was appreciative. Yesterday he kept taking my cheese and crackers away from me so I was a little upset. Taking food from a pregnant lady is unacceptable (even if you are two).

I lied to DH and told him I'm now on pelvic rest (though probably not a terrible idea). He's used to it. 2nd pregnancy in a year...poor guy. #sorrynotsorry

I should jump my husband before I start showing. We haven't done it since finding out I'm KU and once I get a belly he gets oddly squeamish about it.

That's what DH has said too. I told him it sounds like he has a personal problem then. Also, sex for me while pregnant "isn't the same" either. Although, I know some women love it.

I'm very against pressuring into sex (my ex in college was a real manipulative jerk). If you don't want it, he should respect you saying no and move on.

Yeah I don't exactly love it while pregnant but I love the intimacy between us.

I do want it I'm just not ready for it yet, it's only like once every couple days he will mention it and I'll say not yet and he'll go about his day lol
