I'm just going to offer hugs all around to everyone who needs them.


I feel like I'm currently having a panic attack. My symptoms have let up over the course of the day. I took a wondfo and the test line is lighter than the control, which was not the case a week ago. I'm so scared I'm going to have another loss. I just want to enjoy being pregnant and I just can't.

I was looking for a picture of DS in the k'tan and got distracted by how cute he was (is) as a baby. I guess I'm glad we are having another

cnf2013, try not to read into the wondfo, even though I know how hard it is. My PGAL brain is still in full-force, so I get it, but the amount of dye in those tests can vary. Try not to worry too much. When's your next appointment?

Not until 4/10, but I'm going to call my OB in the morning and see if they can squeeze me in for an afternoon ultrasound.

I hope they can get you in tomorrow! I too suffer from pgal brain and have been meticulously comparing my wondfos even though I know that doesn't tell you anything really. <<hugs>>

They got me in immediately when I asked for betas, which they don't typically run. Thankfully they're very understanding and accommodating. It helps that they also do IF testing and treatment there too, so they tend to be really sensitive. Obviously the ultrasound schedule will be a different beast to demand same day pushing into, but they can hopefully work some magic since they have multiple on site.

I have a Moby and ergo. SO wanted the ergo because he has always dreamed of carrying his baby on his back while hiking.. The last time he used it like 2 months ago he said it hurt his shoulders and refuses to use it anymore.

I used the moby when the baby was like 8 to 12 pounds to grocery shop, but once he got big enough to almost support his head he would scream in the moby and so i transitioned to ergo or bringing his infant seat in the store.

Now i use the ergo. It feels big on me and i second the comment on straps are really wide. We go walking a lot on sand and gravel so stroller isnt really an option.

Rogue see if there's a babywearing international group near you. You can try on different carriers and even rent them out (for a yearly membership fee). Tula, lillebaby, and kinder pack are all ssc (soft structured carriers) just like the ergo but each with slightly different structures/features.

Deep breath. Big hugs. 

I had pink spotting with DD and my OB said that is typically caused by irritation to the cervix. Hopefully that's all it might be, or nothing, like a lot of spotting it.

Rogue for SSC, waist strap either above or below your belly depending on what is more comfortable for you. That being said, some docs will prefer you NOT babywear while pregnant depending on your specific pregnancy. There are specific style of wrapping that are for pregnant baby wearers too.

Isn't there something about pregnancy test lines supposedly getting lighter as your hcg increases? I remember something about it from my last BMB and googled quickly and I really think it's a thing. Something about the levels being so high that it gives weird readings.

Sorry to all who are spotting, I guess this proves that it is normal? At least for a bunch of us.

I think I also read that about test lines being unreliable after hcg gets to a certain point cnf2013, peggels24. Also, I'm pretty sure symptoms will come and go, so try not to worry. Hugs.

I woke up feeling awful. Not sure if it's pregnancy symptoms or all the shit food I ate yesterday. But I just want to crawl into a corner and cry.

It rained all day yesterday so getting the toddler out of the house today is most necessary.
I have a Beco Gemini carrier that I love, I liked it better than the ergo, it's much less bulky, and it can do a forward facing carry. I also bought a ring sling when I found out I was pregnant last time because my daughter was only 5 months and I found the hip carry to be easiest with a pregnant belly. I love the ring sling. It lives in my car now for my 8 month old for grocery shopping, errands, appointments, it's so quick and easy.

strangedesign I might have to check out the ring sling. I have some kind of cheapie sling that I liked because it was super compact and easy to use but DS would scream bloody murder every time I tried to put him in there. 🙄

So my office is hesitant to bring me in so nothing is scheduled. They said if I'm off by just a couple of days then it's possible to not see a fetal pole or heartbeat, which just makes things worse. And if I lose this one too it's not like there's anything that can be done. So I guess I'll just try to hang tight until the 10th.
