I called my MW this morning because the spotting continued throughout the night and this morning. Last time I checked, there wasn't anything so I hope it's done. I've been having some cramping too - which I know can also be normal - but they offered an US today. I go in at 1:30.

Good luck to everyone dealing with spotting. It's the worst. If you're looking for more positive anecdotes, I had red then brown spotting for a week with my first pregnancy, and it turned out to just be an irritated cervix. I hope everything turns out fine.
I hope everyone with spotting, it turns out to be nothing. My H got mad at me yesterday and talked me into going out to eat. I'm happy that we did because we had a great family meal. I threw up an apple yesterday and a cupcake today. That was fun. Can we all fast forward to the second tri???

You guys can all fast forward to second trimester and I'll be the lone wolf sticking it out in first forever, because my last pregnancy got a lot worse from second on. :S
So... I'm no longer able to stick the nausea out. I need something. Can anyone advise me on the unisom/b6 concoction? Should I ask my RE or OB about it first? I've never seen my OB (she's also out of the office until 4/2), but it seems weird talking to the RE about it? Idk.
The bloat is real today - I am about to unbutton my pants. I need to get some bloated belly-disguising work outfits so I can keep this under wraps for 5 more weeks.

cnf2013, Im sorry. That has got to be scary as hell. FX everything turns out ok.
All the hugs for the spotting. I spotted for the first time ever last week and it was a light brown spotting that lasted a little over 24hrs. Scary as hell! Thankfully, the first time it happened, I was at the OB's office so I had some instant reassurance.

So, I am super thankful that since I have a history of blood clots during pregnancy, that has qualified me to continue to see peri we had with the girls. I am already having reservations with the OB we picked after I ditched the last one for not doing his job. Every single time we see him (several times in the last 2 months) I have to completely remind him who I am and what my situation is. Read the damn chart and quit making me tell you that I lost my girls. I really don't like having to discuss that every.single.time. Doesn't instill a lot of confidence on my part.

That is pretty terrible on your OB's part. It's called bedside manner; show some sensitivity and read the damn chart! I hate that.
I had my heartbeat ultrasound this afternoon. 120bpm and looking good! Still measuring and leaning toward a 11/18 due date, but we'll confirm in 2 weeks.

What really kills me is that he is so highly recommended in this area and I personally know several of his patients. They absolutely rave about him so I thought this would have been a little smoother than its been. So, then it makes me think that I am being just a tad bit too sensitive. I don't know. He has kinda rubbed DH wrong as well.
Ugh I've been cramping for like 2 hours now. It's an annoying cramp, not exactly painful.
And one of our cats hasn't come home all day (it's 8pm) which makes me worried as this is the longest she hasn't come home. We haven't seen her since last night. I'm sure she is getting fed elsewhere, as she is fatter than her sister, of which is asleep in the cat tree we have in the living room. The weather is horrible right now and when it's like this she doesn't tend to go out, she just chills inside all day but it was really nice yesterday and she came in for dinner and went back out again. I'm not to worried, but if she hasn't turned up by tomorrow early afternoon I'll put a status up on FB and ask in our local selling site. I'm about 80% sure somebody is feeding her, so she's probably gone inside their house.
Now to change DS's poopy nappy he's just finished working on and then put that baby to bed!
diamondsndaisies, I don't think you are being unreasonable. There is no reason that he can't look at your chart and see what your history is.
I agree. I would feel the same way you do. It would take all of a minute to look at your chart but that would make such a big difference to your experience. If it were me, I'd give him another chance or two, but that's mostly because I'm lazy and confrontation-averse.
I feel like I was around 14 weeks with DS when I found his heart beat. But I had a really crappy one and I didn't actually order it until 13/14 weeks. This time around my best friend has a proper one that midwives use, so she's lending it to me. Hoping to get it within the next couple weeks. I'll prob start trying around 10/11 weeks but won't get worried if I can't find it.
I never baby wore with DS, but I think that was mainly down to I never had to, this time around I'm deffo going to try it as it seems easier when out and about, especially when DS will be exactly 2.5 years old, I can just baby wear the newborn and then have hands free for the flight risk toddler.
Plus it stops all the over friendly strangers coming over and going "aww a newborn baby I must stroke their cheek"

My jackass toddler broke our house. He messed with the tub faucet and so it sprayed all over the bathroom and started leaking through the kitchen ceiling. DH thinks he fixed it, but for craps sake. Toddlers, man.
