So, I am super thankful that since I have a history of blood clots during pregnancy, that has qualified me to continue to see peri we had with the girls. I am already having reservations with the OB we picked after I ditched the last one for not doing his job. Every single time we see him (several times in the last 2 months) I have to completely remind him who I am and what my situation is. Read the damn chart and quit making me tell you that I lost my girls. I really don't like having to discuss that every.single.time. Doesn't instill a lot of confidence on my part.
That's upsetting, how hard is it for them to do a quick refresh before talking to a patient.

beefinch that's my thinking too about baby wearing...it may become a necessity with two. My DS will be almost 2.5 when the new baby is born too.
cnf2013 I hope that is one delicious, high quality bagel at least. 😉
AFM, I know it's still too early (5w) but my lack of symptoms other than exhaustion is starting to make me anxious. And my OB appointment is still almost 3 weeks away. I know worrying won't help anything but it's hard.

grumpycat88 WTH?!? How old is your DS? That's pretty high level toddler antics! I'm also impressed that your DH was able to fix it. Mine would be calling a plumber.

He's two ... going on 15. We think the water got into the panel that is right below the tub (it's like a jet tub) and so DH was able to remove it to check it out. The leak was coming from a light fixture directly below it so we will probably need to deal with that at some point too, but we don't use the light much.

So I ordered our holiday cards through tiny prints and they took WAYYY longer than expected. I just got a $50 off (no minimum purchase) expiring in December 2017. #winning
When I eat or drink nothing I feel fine. Eat or drink ANYTHING, get nauseous. I don't think this is a sustainable option though, in case anyone was curious.
theloveparade, I hear ya on the symptoms thing. I was worried when I still had practically none at 5 weeks. For me, it was like a light switch at 5 weeks 4 days. Bam, all day long nausea. I hope you are able to find reassurance. The time before and between appointments drags on forever!

I know; I feel kind of stupid wishing for the nausea that's probably coming, but there it is. It will suck, but mentally it will make me feel better till my first appointment.

Ok I need advice, H and I are attending an anniversary party in April at an expensive country club. I've rented dress A but am worried about bloat, I'll be 9 ish weeks. When you rent a size they will send a back up so I ordered my size and the next one up just in case. But now I'm worried that maybe I should have picked a more forgiving style like dress B. What does everyone think, A, B, Neither?

laurensc927 they're both gorgeous. What's the material of dress A? Black is very forgiving. Will you have time to order dress B if dress A comes in and it's not what you want?

beefinch that's what I was thinking, maybe some Spanx would save me lol.
fknhostile it's a rental so I'll get it Friday and send it back Monday. If I get it and it absolutely won't work I suppose I could call them and see if they can overnight something different but it would be better to change now if i can. The reviews say it's not too thick but lays nicely.

If you really like it I agree with beefinch. Get yourself some spanx. It'll save you the hassle of returning it.

laurensc927, I like B! I think the cinched waist helps a bit to hide bloat, plus the pattern will too. I wore a dress with a waist like that in August (when I just overweight, not pregnant) and it made me look skinnier than I was.

Scanning through this thread and realizing those due in November seem to be somewhat witty and interesting. I was a very nonactive member of the july 2015 board so this is a nice surprise!

I wish I had all day symptoms. The lack of symptoms is driving my PGAL brain crazy.
So I was emailing my SIL and telling her how my symptoms appear gone and now I'm nervous - of course now I want to throw up on my desk and my boobs feel like there's a million little warriors inside them stabbing them with knives. When will I learn to keep my mouth shut?

I have a formal wedding coming up and bought this BEAUTIFUL dress prior to finding out I'm knocked up and it fit like a glove. Fast forward a week, found out I'm pregnant and have since bought a new dress that's more flow-y on my belly since I'm already bloat-showing. WAHHHHHH. Complaining over.
twotxmommies , we have our moments. I'm probably going to lose my shit if/when the "what should I pack in my hospital bag" threads start though. (The answer is alcohol in case anyone was wondering already).

Is anyone else listening to S-Town, the new podcast from the serial and this American life people? I just started it on my commute this am and so far I'm mildly intrigued.

I am a bridesmaid in Bridzillas wedding June 2nd! I picked up my dress a few weeks back and try that damn thing on daily in a panic that I wont fit! It is forgiving in the "pooch" area but if i gain an oz around my rib cage that dress is toast!

grumpycat88 I already know which bottle of champagne I'm taking with me!
I have no symptoms yet either but I know they're coming. I peed on a wondo this morning and the test line was darker than the control (I have the tests so why not).

I may or may not have cried while cussing a teenager out for almost closing the door on me at the market yesterday. Kids! Hold the f*ing door for f sake.
not being able to drink while pregnant is a cruel joke. I have never needed a vodka drink so bad. my nerves are shot
