So I decided to drive myself crazy and take out my pocket Doppler. Why I hate having one? I took me two tries and 30 min to find the heartbeat. Freaked me out a little even though it is still super early. Why I love it? Gave me relief and the biggest smile once I heard it.
I used mine last night, best sound ever. Once I found it I kept it there for a long time just to listen. Then I moved it so that I could practice finding the hb again and did the same thing. I know some people don't like dopplers, but I love them so much and the reassurance it gives makes me so happy.

congratulations trinitrotoluene ! Find a great moving company .... any chance you can hire someone to pack for you? We did that with our last move and it wasn't that pricey (and worth us not having to take a week off work to pack).

Re lunchmeat: I microwave it when I bring it home from the store and then put it in the fridge. I think a nurse told me that trick when I was pregnant with DD.

When I was preggo with DD I would get the Tuna sub from Subway and make them toast the actual Tuna. They always stared at me but it made me feel better.

I wish! I'm a SAHM though, so i will probably do all the packing, but i am putting my foot down on us paying someone else to drive the moving truck. I'm not driving that far alone with a toddler while KU

Re: baby movement, I thought I felt something on my drive home but it was hard to tell in a moving car. How are some of us already far enough along to feel movement? I swear this is flying by.

It really is going by quickly, which makes me sad. We're 99.9% certain this is our last baby and I generally enjoy being pregnant. I'm going to miss these days

I'm so sick of being bloated. The past few days, I haven't been able to get full. I eat *plenty* but still don't feel satisfied. In return, I've turned into the world's most bloated person. It's miserable. And I still feel hungry. Blahhb

Happy Friday, all! It's not even "Friday" in our house (DH has rotating days off and I SAH so his weekend is my weekend), but I'm in a great mood cause my OB's office called and my 1st tri screen was normal! Guess we'll be telling our families soon, so that's pretty exciting

You guise! this morning when I was waking up, I bent over awkwardly forgetting that I have bump and felt a "kapow" which definitely isn't gas! I didn't feel any movement with DS until about 16 weeks which was unmistakably an angry double pow when I accidentally rolled onto my bump in bed. Is it crazy? I'll be 13 wks this weekend. Any STM or TTM feel anything yet or am I being crazy and it was just a giant gas bubble exploding in my stomach?

Ugh. sorry you're feeling miserable. I have the opposite problem, this past week, my bloatness seems to have dissipated some and I cant really eat a full meal even though nausea seems to have subsided too. So I just eat like half of my meal, feel uncomfortably full then eat the other half like 2-3 hrs later. It's like sad because I feel like I am constantly eating every couple hours or so.SaveSave

I definitely did this, not pregnant, when DS was around 10m. No shame. Do. Not. Wake. A. Sleeping. Baby.

Apparently my not-quite-4yo has been practicing an April Fools joke at school all week. He's so excited. I have no idea what it is, but early slip ups yesterday tell me it has something to do with a red monster outside the window 👹😆

Morning. H usually gets home from work around midnight, but last night it was 5:30am. Sooooo he's not going to be any use to me this morning, and he works again this aft. I had a restless sleep, plus the toddler made noise every time I started to drift off. This is going to be a looooong day.
