It's rainy here. Circle Time for ds and running errands with dd. I'm getting the sewing supplies I forgot about so I can work on her Easter basket.
Oh! pibblemom Leap 2 fussiness and being on and off the boob. It doesn't automatically mean your supply is low. But if I remember correctly it could mean they need more milk (because they're getting bigger) so being on the boob more like that signals more milk production. We had a similar rough night and Mh ended up taking dd downstairs for a couple hours.

Rainy and foggy here too. Just returned from dropping both boys off at daycare. It went surprisingly well. We weren't as early as we will need to be next Thursday but it's a good start.
pibblemom, happy belated birthday! Hope you had a good day!
vlagroupie, have a good first day back at work! Hope your morning goes smoothly. And hugs for baby's first day at daycare. I'm right there with you.

Good morning! We had a fun and busy weekend. Baby A was mostly an angel, and big girl...Well, she's usually 50/50. Big girl did have fun at the gym with me though.
Today is a relax and reset day. I need to do some tidying up from the weekend, and catch up on a few episodes of This is Us. But for now, I am hanging with my Girls.
We just had our 2 month well visit. He's a full pound lighter than his older brother was at this age! 12 lb 6 oz, 22.5" long. I realized I need to pull out some spring 3m clothes, which I wasn't counting on doing. He took his shots like a total champ so fx for an easy day.
I am so excited! Today is H's last day at one of his jobs and he starts his new one tomorrow! His weekends will be Sundays and Mondays which sucks as far as me going back to work and not being home Mondays, but it also means that's one day less a week to pay for care for the boys. And he'll be coming home at normal times instead of crazy late. Woo!
I also need to contact our nanny to go over expectations, pay frequency, etc. She gets in on Thursday so I should probably get all that info together soon.

ellabee E started growing out of 0-3 month as well so I washed and organized the 3-6 month clothes this weekend.
E slept until 10:30. I got quite a few things done this morning. I can't believe this is my last full week of leave. I'm trying to make the most of this week with her.
Last night after Bs bath I was putting lotion on him and when I got to his feet he kept giggling. Looks like he's got ticklish feet! It was so heart melting. 😂

Thanks for the well wishes on first day back at work! So far so good. I was a little misty leaving her this morning, but she was smiling and happy so it's all good. I just hope she can nap there. I forgot how noisy and kind of chaotic a room full of babies can be. Well, there were only 3 other babies today but one was just crying his head off. The teacher said that he has tummy troubles, poor guy Anyway, I can't wait to get her this afternoon though!
ellabee I'm making a mental note of the laundry entertainment trick.
So much spit up over here today. We're on outfit #3. Adding to the baby clothes convo since dd is smaller than ds it's looking like she'll be on target to use a lot of his warmer weather clothes this year! I'm excited. He had some adorable onesies. Since we went with a forest adventurer theme most of them are pretty neutral. Her two month appointment is Wednesday, I'm excited to find out her stays!

H set up E's exersaucer yesterday she doesn't have the head control for it yet. I sat her on my lap and played with some of the toys on it. I never heard shrieking like that before it was so cute. I almost done addressing the invites for the baptism. We are undecided on inviting a few friends so hopefully we can decide in the next few days and then get them out.
Thanks for the HBDs ladies! We also spent some of the weekend washing 3-6 month clothes. I can't wait to see what Cs numbers are tomorrow at her 2 month appt. She was 21.75" at her 1 month and this kid has grown so much since then. Pedi had wanted 10lbs 6 oz, and I'm fairly certain we've surpassed that.
Also, I forgot the best part of our weekend, I finally forced H to go visit his grandma. It's not that he doesn't want to, but he always finds excuses, and I flat out told him I can't visit mine, so let's go while she's still around. She was SO excited to meet C, she put on some Dean Martin and danced around the living room with her. It was so heartwarming, and I got lots of pictures. I hope that at Easter I can finally get that 4 generation picture, because I think it's super important.

I'm exhausted and dreading tonight. My sewing machine isn't stitching properly so I'm frustrated I couldn't make much progress on my project. Everyone is crying. Ds went down unusually hard and has been woken up twice by a crying baby and barking dog. Dd isn't happy unless she's being held or on the boob. Indiana had a rare barking freak out for no reason, hence the crying toddler. Just got dd ready for bed and there's a little bit of blood in her poop. I give up for today.

I ran to lowes when dd went to bed to get the missing screws we need for the second crib that was handed down to us. While I was gone mh fed, changed, and put R to bed. As I was walking in the door mh looked at the monitor and realized dd was completely naked 😂. I went in and put her in a zippered sleeper instead of the 2-piece pjs she was in. She just kept saying "pants off pants off". Crazy kid!
Also this afternoon she came to me and told me she had pooped so I went to change her and realized she hadn't pooped yet so I asked her if she had to poop and she said yes. So I put her on the potty and she actually pooped! I know it was just a fluke but it was still a really proud moment, haha.

lakegirl I have a dog that also rarely barks but when she does it is at the most inconvenient times! I'm sorry that's so frustrating, I hope things settle down soon and y'all get good sleep tonight.

N was 10.14 at her two month and 22.5". (She was 6.14 and 19.75" at birth)
Her weight gain has slowed down but it's still around 4-5 oz per week and she's sleeping 5-6 hours overnight so I'm sure she's fine. Right?
I took her over to my friend's house today so we could chat a little more. It was hard to talk with two toddlers running loose. I'm trying to jam in socializing before my last six weeks of leave area over.
DS accidentally kicked her in the head tonight and she wailed and wailed but seems fine now. We were a little worried. (He's used to sprawling on the couch but the BF pillow gets in his way now if I'm feeding her)
