Is it normal at 26 weeks for baby to still be flipping back and forth? I swear I'm feeling kicks super low at some points during the day and then up at my ribs during others!

Also remember you feel punches as well! Baby boy has been head down and I feel all the punches low and all the kicks high!

Is it bad that I can't tell the difference between a kick and a punch?

Our 22 year old marketing assistant told me today that I looked cute and then he brought me a brownie he bought at panera. He is my new favorite coworker.

bdblz I am between that and the Tula ring sling. However, I am going to be waiting until after the baby gets here so I can go all girly or boy vs gn like most things I have now.

DH & I are in escrow on a new house. We're not scheduled to close until May 19th. I feel like I'm going to be rushing around at the last minute washing all of DS old clothes and trying to get the nursery ready for this baby. On top of trying to unpack and settle in to a new home. I just want to start already, but it seems completely futile to invest time into anything that will have to be moved and washed / cleaned once we've moved.

I'm thinking of getting a ring sling to have in addition to the Lille. I think a ring sling will be easier in the early days, better for quick ups and downs, and for nursing. I could never figure out nursing with the Lille. But the Lille will be great for wearing longer and outdoorsy stuff like hikes and whatnot.
So moral of my story - get both 😉😝😉😝
I'd like a ring sling too. TBH, I have eleventy carriers on my registry...Moby wrap, Infantini mei dai, Tula, Ergo, Baby Bjorn, and a few others. I like to have variety. But I'd like a DIY ring sling I think. I've been googling tutorials.

I have this pretty Etsy one on my registry for the Share Infant and Pregnancy Loss walk this October. It will match the rainbow baby outfit I'm planning for him! 🌈

MissSally baby is flipping all over now. I googled when they should be head down and 32 weeks seems to be the point where docs like them to be and stay head down. It doesn't mean that they won't still flip though.

I've struggled since 16 weeks. Nothing has helped. I've been to the chiro weekly for 10 weeks now, had PT work on me. I have a support brace but baby is siting so low it's extremely uncomfortable. I'm just suffering at this point.

Ugh I'm so sorry to hear you're going through that 😔 for now my pain is mostly a nuisance...although by the end of the day it's difficult to move too much. I wanted to try to do something now so that I'm not super duper uncomfortable down the line but I guess babies are gonna go where they want to go

Yep. I've had the lower back pain for weeks now also. I will sit on a heat pad for 20 mins and then do some stretches, which helps temporarily. Usually by the end of the day I can barely walk though.
This baby girl is a master at hiding somewhere in my belly. Some days I feel her so well, and other days it's like she's not even in there. Considering I didn't even feel movement with ds until at least 23 weeks, I shouldn't be surprised, but it always makes me a bit nervous when I don't feel her for a while. She's 11 inches long! How does she hide in there?!?!

I wonder this also! At two lbs and 14 inches, it's crazy to be that I can't feel him all the time!!
XP from the Weekly Appointment thread because I am just so pissed and want to vent. I had my appointment yesterday. I'm not super thrilled. So I had the 1 hour glucose test at 24 weeks. The office called and told me that I passed (133. 140 is a fail). Yesterday's appt was the first one since I had the 1 hour, and my doctor tells me that my number was on the high end of normal and that I could still develop GD so she wants me to go on the diet anyway. Excuse me? I PASSED. I feel like she just pulled the rug out from under me. Because she took it "early" so I still might develop it. Which sounds like a load of bull. Dr Google tells me that the 1 hr test is usually given between 24 - 28 weeks. If a pass is a pass, then it shouldn't matter when I took the damn thing so long as I took it during the window. And I did. #INTERNETYELLING
nola1017 I would be mad too. And you know what? She doesn't live with you so you can eat whatever you want regardless. You know if you need to be careful or not.
