Also: everyone seems to think I have all this patience....nope...I just do a great job of hiding it and counting to 10 some days.

Lasagna sounds delicious!

I just got home from feeding the vampires. AKA getting a ton of blood drawn. Time to get some house work done since I'm at rehearsal late tonight.

ldubhawksfan actually this morning wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be based on events from yesterday but it is a Monday. But I got the kids to daycare after tears due to not wanting to put shoes and jackets on and not listening to me about it (and hiding under the desk in the living room) and myself to work on time. They got up and got dressed fine which I thought was going to be part of my issue this morning.

Also, our dog got into sandburs yesterday...and he still needs a haircut so that was fun dealing with getting them out of his paws last night. I had to cut a little fur but mostly could pull out with H holding the dog for me. Butler was not happy with us at all and growled a few times (I can't blame the dog since they hurt) so he got a few breaks and snuggles in between.

Poor Butler! Having sand burs in the fur sounds painful.

I hope you get some decompression time this week, it sounds like you really deserve to get some time to recharge.

Yes!!! I noticed that, too. Is it the prices of the meats that limits you? I found that to be irritating.

There's some wildlife path or something behind my house. Or my neighbors just put food out, I don't know. But I just saw a pack of deer walk through and then one of them got distracted by some food and got left behind. Now I'm watching it wander around the woods looking for its family. I hope she finds them 🙁

DD was way off schedule due to spring break and was up until...3AM. I am dead dog tired today.

FI and I are re-starting the South Beach Diet today, and I'm actually doing good so far. It's only 1pm though.

Lasagna sounds really good, but DD won't eat it. She likes all the ingredients, but put them together into a lasagna and she won't touch them.

Diets are so frustrating. I'm starting an anti-inflammatory diet per a specialists suggestion to try and control the pain from the PID. My head is hurting from the lack of sugar.

I'm almost completely caffeine free. The times I've tried to add it back after cutting it out over 4 years ago have been awful. Stomach cramps and burning. But I really wish I had some now for this headache. I'm having to remind myself that this headache is temporary, where as the pain will be permanent if my diet doesn't change.

Oy, kudos on being caffeine free, but I'm so sorry about the headache. You're right though, it's temporary and if the diet change is what's needed to cure the pain, you gotta do it. Good luck to you!!

Lol so I had this big ass jar of change that's been in our house since we got married, I have no idea where it came from but it had tons and tons of quarters in it. I finally took it to a Coinstar for an Amazon giftcard -- $78 in there! We are such hot messes for letting it get to that point!

I also found money from like 5 countries in there. Oops! That should probably go somewhere cooler than the regular U.S. change jar I think!

DH has a large jar of change that he's been accumulating since before we met. I keep meaning to count it, but haven't yet. I figure we'll use it for something fun on our vacation this summer.

Any of y'all ever made a cherry chip cake before? Helping throw a bachelorette party this weekend and I'm in charge of the cake, and that is the bride's fave. But not sure what recipe to use.
