I'm so glad to hear you're doing so much better. Gives me hope. 

It's amazing to me how much I was thinking/doing that I kept attributing to just having a Type A personality. I definitely do, but I was going overboard because of my anxiety. It's been so freeing. I'm hopeful for you too.

Bah baby has a fever of 101 with a cough and congestion. I am scheduled to go on a preschool tour tomorrow morning, but feel like i should also take baby to the pedi's walk-in hours in the morning if the fever persists. Man, couldn't the fever have waited until Thursday?

Does anybody else with anxiety notice how it has these peaks where it's really bad, then goes back down?

He won't sleep and I don't what to do. Won't take a pacifier, boob calms him but I can't sit like that all night sorry for the rant, I just feel like I'm losing it.

Ugh. This is one of the worst feelings. Take a break for a few minutes if you need to. Hang in there.

Thank you. I put him back in his crib and turned the monitor off for 10 minutes to calm down (me, not him). Luckily, he fell asleep.

fem I absolutely have peaks and ? troughs of anxiety. Less sleep will do it. Any added stressor like there was a little work stress that set me off. I've also started wondering about my cycle influencing it. Like most people have PMS, but I notice peaks in anxiety right before my period and I think ovulation. Irritability is kind of a side effect of anxiety and that's peaked at all those times too. I've noticed when I'm the most irritable is when I've been the most anxious even if I didn't realize it. It's just so crazy.

Funny you say that about your cycle, I was just talking to my best friend who has tried some anxiety meds but didn't really like them. Her and her OB figured out she probably has Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder and now she only takes meds for one week during her cycle (not sure exactly when).  She said she is feeling so much better.  A lot of this takes a while to figure out I think!

Also I was thinking and wanted to mention that caffeine is a huge problem for me related to anxiety. So I only drink decaf. And when I used to drink alcohol, that also was not good for it. And being hungry. Hahah. I feel like such a "delicate flower" saying these things. But honestly I'm so much better when those things are in check.

I have also noticed caffeine can affect me, but I also need it to stay alive these days . I'm impressed you do no caffeine after rough nights!
