My boobs are out of control today. C STTN so I woke up completely engorged with little puddles, nursed her and had to try to slow down my flow so she could breathe, now she's napping and I'm pumping with the manual pump but may need to hook up the double pump because one side is still letting down while I pump the other. I have never had this issue. Hello letdown, so glad you could join us.
Only plan for the day is C's 2 month appt, then if she's happy maybe we'll take a stroll around target.
I'm having a lazy morning over here. Ds and I read a bunch of books. A nice little thunderstorm came through which was nice (I love storms). I think I'll run around town by myself or with just one kid. It will feel like freedom either way! The only other thing planned is going into the city for a fancy and kid free date at one of the swanky steak houses. I'm drooling over the menu. We go every year but had to wait this year until I could drink wine and eat a properly cooked steak.

I had some thunderstorms pass through about an hour ago. I love storms too.
E is super smiley and giggly today. My dad is coming over to see her later this afternoon. I can't wait. He is so good with her. It's been awhile since he has seen her. I have a board meeting tonight I haven't been in awhile so I figure with work next week I should start adulting again. Sigh

I also love storms! So far we've only had some rain but supposedly storms will be rolling in later. I am currently lying in bed debating whether to clean my closet or take a nap. I think we all know what I will be choosing to do.

I took A to the gym with my this morning, so between my workout and the drive on either side, she was in her carseat for about 2.5 hours. So, now I have her exercising on her little play mat until she tell me he's ready to eat.
As for the rest of the day? I think I'll plow through 3 epis of This is Us, shower if A lets me, and maybe a quick grocery store run if the rain lets up!

When I first met my H he would only eat stake well done, after 6 years he will now eat a medium stake but I doubt he will ever have a truly proper stake. He also refuses to eat eggs that are not scrambled or over well he likes his food DONE.

rinny, Q didn't have any problems with the vaccine he just slept a bunch. I hope baby feels better soon, it is heartbreaking when you can't do anything for them.

I'm eavesdropping of the people sitting next to me at Starbucks it's not my best day. They're talking about glasses they didn't end up buying guide, and restless leg syndrome. They also asked me if I saw the " video on the Internet of the little girl on the beach".
Clearly they're little old ladies, about to do their mall walk.
He just had it yesterday and poor kid is just a fussy, pukey mess. My first had even more puke than normal right after but I can't for the life of me remember how many days it lasted

FFTC they changed our vaccination system here to a weird central reservations system that was always busy.i didn't even try to get an appointment until F was 6weeks. And then couldn't get a hold of anyone for another 2 weeks. so F isnt getting vaccinations until3months. I feel like shit about it

Now the little old ladies are talking about Gray's Anatomy. But they don't know any of the characters names. They just referred to one as "you know, that doctor"

Don't beat yourself up about it you are going to get the vaccines and baby F is happy and healthy.
Cs 2 month appt went well. She was 10 lbs 3 oz, 22.5" long. I stayed to feed her and reweigh her at 10lbs 6 oz after the appt which would've put her at exactly 2 lbs, so she is right on target. At Panera now and she's snoozing after her shots. She took them really well and stopped fussing as soon as she was on the boob. The pedi is happy with her and is really boosting to me as a mom as well, so I'm so glad I chose him, even though he may be close to retiring (he was my pediatrician).

Hi ladies! I'm at the salon getting my hair hi lighted, 2nd time here in 2 weeks. That as many times as I went for the whole year last year 🙈. I'm trying to get better about self care, andplusalso I'm starting to get more grays I need to cover! Mh is home with the kids and told me to get lunch and take my time, don't mind if I do. Depending on how much my hair costs I might just get a pedicure after I eat!
Every time I get a call from the pediatrician's office I simultaneously get an overwhelming sense of dread and rage. They called to let me know that they couldn't find dd in the system AGAIN and asked if we were switching insurance companies. We are due to mh's new job which starts in April but our current coverage is good to the end of the month. The billing lady found where it said we were covered until 3/31 but couldn't find dd. I have the insurance card with dd's name on it and the lady said that should be fine but so help me if I walk in there tomorrow and dd isn't covered AGAIN.
TLDR: dd has the worst luck with insurance and our current company has potentially dropped the ball for the fifth? Sixth? I've lost count time.
