I have used Treswhite in the past with great results. I have a refill of trays from my dentist that I am planning to use soon, but you can't drink anything staining during the week you're using them so I haven't started yet. I need my coffee right now! Last time I used them the results lasted about a year.

I occasionally use crest white strips... usually will do 3-5 days of the 10 day regime and my teeth are super white after and stay that way for ~6 months. I buy the strips on amazon for like $35
I've done it through my dentist with the custom trays like sharebear05 and it really helped. It was $150 though I think? I've also done the crest whitening and they do make a difference but it's obviously not quite the same. But they're like $20-40 so.

I did Crest strips, many years ago. I had to stop because it made my teeth super sensitive to weird things - like the slightest roughness against my hands was like nails on a chalkboard. For instance, I could not handle manila folders in a stack because they'd rub against each other in my hands. Styrofoam was an absolute nightmare and normally doesn't bother me at all.
So that's my weird cautionary tale. The feeling went away as soon as I stopped using the strips.
kristhegirl wait, so when you touched things with your hands your teeth hurt? I had no idea that was a thing!
I think it was actually the sound/vibration, but it was worst if I was touching the thing.
At the time I worked at a place where I had to file carbon copies of things, and that paper is a little rough. I couldn't flip through the files at all, completely put my teeth on edge. The closest common thing it felt like was like when a fork scrapes a plate. But it was everything.
kristhegirl that is really odd. But you never know how chemicals can affect your sensory systems. Thanks for the suggestions ladies. I am not passing the tissue test with these teeth right now.
Following. I have been looking into this recently too. My teeth are so stained from coffee and wine.
I just did 1 hour strips from target last weekend and I didn't see a difference at all. I just got some sensodyne whitening toothpaste too but I bet it's super slow to see changes.

I use this because my teeth are really sensitive. It definitely helps for that aspect. I have been using it for a couple years and my teeth are definitely not any whiter though.
FIL and BIL are dentists. I've used the custom trays with the gels, and also the Crest white strips. Results with the gels and custom trays are far superior to the white strips. Both made my teeth a little more sensitive during use.
I haven't used either in awhile because my top four front teeth are bonded, so if I alter the color of the others, it would look quite odd! So my teeth are a little dingy but at least they all match.
