Let's talk baby flat spots.
I'm not too concerned because I can't even see the "small flat spot" my pedi said she has. But, also, wtf am I supposed to do about it? She gets held a lot, she's nursing a lot and she likes to sit in this little Fisher Price chair that keeps pressure off her head. I'd say the most she's on her head is the crib at night and the car and neither of those are really optional.
Dr said to increase tummy time, but between eating then staying upright so she doesn't spit up, naps and getting DS to his activities there seems to be very little time to do this. I tried wearing her in the ergo for an hour yesterday and she loved it, but my core is so weak from pregnancy with a giant baby and c section that I'm sore now.
Will this just correct itself as she gets older and is sitting up more, etc.?

I am no expert but it sounds like there's not much you can do. It's not like baby spends all day lying down flat. I would just keep doing what you've been doing and it should correct itself.

We have a small flat spot because he prefers a certain side of his head when he's sleeping at night. Same as you during the day, he's never ever on that spot, usually worn, moves freely, etc. The sleep preference did DS1 in too, so I'm trying really hard to stay on top of it this time (DS1 still has a slight flattening on one side and I'm mega paranoid).
One thing that has been helping is i do stretches with him. Hold his head down gently the opposite way he likes to sleep at night, and also touching his ear to his shoulder. He's been starting to use that other side more at night, particularly if i do a good stretch when i put him down.
I am pretty sure I'm the only one who can see it aside from the ped, but like I said - paranoid over here.
I also wanted to say now is 100% the time to catch it. I just spent a good long while looking at my kids head and I think it already rounded back out just this week. Crazy.

Yep, if they prefer facing one way to sleep, you want to encourage looking the other way while playing, in the car etc as much as possible. You can do this with stretches and making sure one side has toys or pictures and the other side is 'boring'.
