DD1 was never fussy ever, and DD2 was pissy until about 4 months. So I'm hoping for a happy medium for DS, somewhere around any day now. Also no sleep regressions, and easy teething. I shoved them out of my lady parts, I feel owed.
DD2 started out indifferent to DS but now she's all about ripping off his blanket, trying to swing him too high in his swing, poking him in the eyes and hitting. Toddlers are a bad mix of lacking both personal space and empathy.
DS tried to feed baby with his pretend spoon last night. She really didn't appreciate it. But then he does things like tries to pick her up when she's fussing, which is simultaneously adorable and terrifying. Life with a toddler is never boring.
DD2 was hitting his head then poking him in the eyes. We kept telling her to be gentle with her responding kind of confused (not with a meltdown like every other time she's told no) then I saw her do it to herself during one of her shows. Come to find out she's trying to act out the dance to "head and shoulders, knees and toes". So cute but dangerous.
My children all apparently hate sleep. LO1 took over 2 hours to get to sleep so she'll get at most 7hpirs of sleep so she'll be a peach tomorrow. Babes are one my 3rd round of nursing for sleep. Cmon kiddos....sleep is a wonderful thing....embrace it!!!!
When does this witching hour fussy-time bullshit end?
E is fussy mostly during the day actually and gets in one last good fuss around dinner time.
Her fussiness usually doesn't even phase me because for the second week of her life, we got blood curdling screams for 8-11 hours at a time every day. (Turned out she was a lazy eater and despite mangling my nipples for 40+ minutes at a time, wasn't actually taking in anything close to what she needed.) Nothing has since compared to the "I'm secretly not getting enough milk" screams.

Twins are 9 weeks today and still crabby in the evening.

OMG. DS1 learned head shoulders knees and toes at daycare and is obsessed with showing me the baby's "eye an mow." I don't know what's more terrifying - the uncoordinated eye poking or the germy toddler fingers in the mouth.
When my 18m toddlers started hitting recently, I tap them on thrir chest after trying many times to tell them no. Just a tap got their attention and I said "It doesn't feel good when someone hits you, does it? No hitting."
