Ridley stole my breakfast and I'm too lazy to get up and get anything else. Hopefully this coffee is enough.

I can't wait for this weekend. It's supposed to be the first time since early February that we have two consecutive dry days.

I just went and bought coffee lol.
It's supposed to be really nice here this weekend, which is awesome because I'm off AND I'm supposed to go out to the sugar bush for pancake breakfast with my bestie. The trip may or may not include our men and my nephew (who I haven't seen in weeks!!)

Ugh, I really need to get back on the healthy eating train. I'm so indulging my cravings lately.

We're having quesadillas for lunch, but I have to wash the pan and I really don't feel like it. Having to feed Ridley has really changed what and how I eat. Normally I wouldn't have bothered with lunch. Had a string cheese and some crackers and call it good enough. But now I feel like I have to have legit defined meals everyday where before I tended to just snack. There were a lot less dishes that way. Lol

Hola! Today is my last day of work before we go to Florida tomorrow. I wish I could look forward to trips like normal people. My anxiety kicks into high gear whenever we go away. I already miss my cat 😿

On pay days (last Friday) I buy myself lotto tickets. Lotto max and 649. I won a free ticket on both of them, but saved my 649 to get the draw for Saturday again. I just went to turn it in and decided to grab a scratcher while I was there. Came home, scratched it, and won $20! Woohoo! Good end to a shitty (sometimes literally) day. We've got 7 residents so far who are down with the norovirus =( I don't think I got half the stuff I was supposed to get done because I was so busy tending to the ones who were sick.

It's a national lotto in Canada ^^ I was super happy when I scratched it. Now to decide what to do with that money!
Yeah, it's sucky, but they're getting better care and attention than they would be at an overcrowded hospital, so at least I can feel good about that

I actually didn't know what the lottos were until fairly recently, when I had some money to play them instead of groaning on about how many times I COULD have won if I had just bought tickets lol
