Zantac stopped working. At this point I have to laugh. Oye.
Pedi checkup for B and DD this morning. We're still workig on getting approval from the insurance company for the Prevacid. Fx that comes in soon and can help. B is up to 14lbs 6oz, so obviously no issues with his weight gain.
DD is in the 99%ile for height - she takes after daddy! No shots today, just a small finger stick.
I'm stranded at home now because after the checkups DH and I dropped my car off to get the bumper fixed from his fender bender few months back. I'm not complaining because I've been nagging him about getting this done for ages. Now I just have to figure out how to manage picking DD up from daycare later today if DH isn't back from teaching and a property showing in time. I hope MIL is around otherwise...uber?

Hooray for sleep opheliainwaders! ellabee, damn it, I'm sorry the Zantac stopped working. I hope you get approval for the Prevacid asap.
My mom left last night so I was alone getting the kids ready this morning. It went well. We are still "running late" so I suppose this means I have no choice but to get up early next week. I don't go back to work until Thursday so I'll have Mon-Wed to really practice. Ugh. Not excited about any of it. Also, I am super lonely and feel terribly guilty about sitting here watching TV all alone.
ellabee, sorry the meds seem to gave stopped working. We may be the same but it's possible H's symptom come back is due to irregular timing or outgrowing the dose he's on during our trip. I hope it's the later because I've been trying not too stress out about his slow weight gain.
We are nearing the end of our trip, only 5 days left and 3 different locations! It's been a whirlwind but mostly fun and lovely to catch up with friends and family. And the boys have coped so well with all the travel and new people. We're currently on a 5 hour train journey from my mums back to the ILs where DH had been since Monday. As we changed trains a little while ago the old couple next to us marveled at how good the boys had been. Hope it lasts!
heybulldog I think doing practice runs is smart. Can you get a few small chores done while they're gone so you don't feel so guilty? And then watch TV?
N slept eight hours!! And went to bed at 9:45! She was a little restless around 3:30 but she went back to sleep. FX this continues. I went back to offering both breasts for every feeding yesterday so I'm hoping that's what made the difference. She went back to bed so I'm eating my breakfast and having coffee before 9:30 for once.

Good morning ladies I am unexpectedly kid free for a few hours. I was supposed to go to a Dr appointment this morning but a bunch of streets are flooded so it was cancelled. H said he was already planning on watching Q so I should just take some time for myself. I am so excited and celebrating with breakfast out.
This train is packed. There are no changing facilities in the restroom which is tiny. H just pooped. A lot. It smells. A lot. Nothing I can do but hope it doesn't escape the diaper until we get off in 20min...
E slept until 8:30 which was nice. Last night I got a package from friends with a beautiful quilt for E. Omg I love it. H cleaned up the guest bedroom yesterday for mil. This is my last full day with just E and I. The nanny will be here tomorrow for a little bit.
Mh is fly fishing with his dad and uncle today so I'm trying to get back into my usual routine. I'm feeling a bit run down. Ds has a disgustingly runny nose so he probably passed it on to me. Instead of being productive during his nap, I am now curled up in bed with dd. I also feel guilty about being lazy heybulldog56.
We've been out and about. We played outside. I took dd's 2 Month pictures. The little stinker was sticking her tongue out in most of them! She's going to be one feisty character that's for sure.
bazinga, FX for no poopie mess! Also, you have given me courage for my upcoming solo flight with both boys! I'm really glad you are enjoying your trip!
judyblume14, B also insists that I stand when holding him. It can be annoying.

@ellabee Prevacid worked wonderfully for DS so I hope you get your approval soon.
heybulldog Don't feel guilty...take a nap! I think I've taken one 20 min catnap since DD was born since my 2.5 year old doesn't nap. So, if I was alone I'd totally sleep!
This morning I took DS to school and then walked the mall for some exercise. Now we're just having an afternoon in. DS has been driving me insane lately so I think we will play outside in a little bit. Worst part of playing outside is getting him back in the house!

Sounds like a great start to people's days today!
Ours was less so.
DS1 woke up at 4:45 saying he needed to poop. He spent 10 minutes trying to before giving up and saying he needed water. He walked out of our room and pretty soon he's back, crying. I asked him what was wrong and he threw up ago over my arm, pillow, and bed. It was so gross. I ushered him to the bathroom so he could finish over the toilet while I washed off the vomit all over me and H changed the sheets.
Omg. It was so gross. It looked and smelled like poop. And then he had diarrhea on top of it all. So we took a shower and moved to the couch with a bucket.
I thought DS1 was feeling better but maybe not because he put himself down for a nap. He rarely does that unless he's really not feeling well or he's crazy tired.

Took N with me to try and do some baby returns/exchanges. Apparently Sears has a strict 30 day return policy, even with receipts. So now I have a fleece snowsuit and a velour sleeper that we will never use because it's too warm here. Tags still on.
Okay, Carter's will be easier! Nope. These are from Costco. WTF when did they start carrying baby clothes? So I waited in a long line and got $20. Barely worth going out. Boo.
N was great the whole time, not a peep from her, and she fell asleep on the way home and is still asleep.
MissDemeanor those days are so hard. I'm never quite able to explain to Mh how we had great day but if you don't take the kids and give me some time as soon as you come in the door I might explode into a million bits because I'm touched out and just antsy in my own skin. I hope you're able to get some me time and recharge tonight.

MissDemeanor I'm sorry hopefully you can get some no kid time soon. I also agree with lakegirl it is hard to explain to Him that sometimes I just don't want to be touched anymore and it has nothing to do with how good or bad the day was.

Thanks lakegirl and ambiguousmango Unfortunately my bf is out of town for work this week (and last). I've been trying to convince DS1 that it's bedtime (an hour early) and so far it's half working. He's in bed watching Bananas in Pajamas on my computer. Lord knows where he heard about that show.
