Ok good to know all this data stuff. I probably use a lot- I listen to several podcasts, use YouTube, map apps when driving, FB...
One of the best ways to lower your costs is to combine plans with someone else you trust. We have a combo unlimited plan with my parents and split it because it's only $20 to add an extra line but everyone on the contract gets the unlimited data and calls, etc.. we have sprint.

lindsay We have Sprint and until Dec. had an unlimited plan that cost $160 (without any phone payments). We were both wanting new phones so I waited until they had a BOGO deal and decided to switch to 12gb of data at the same time. Now we pay $130 2 phones (technically 1) and 12gb of shared data. It was really hard to move past the "what if" scenarios of why we might need unlimited data. I looked over a year's worth of usage though and the highest our combined usage ever went was like 5gb. I figured 12gb is more than double our highest and I feel like we already use our phones a lot. H doesn't use the wifi at work and streams music all day every day and also in the car, I think he's usually at 2.5gb (although he's at 4 this month???) I also noticed my employer discount took off more after the switch because of how the shared data is billed vs unlimited.

I'm finally checking in. H should be home with M any minute and I'm still in my pajamas and have no idea what we are doing for dinner. I could also use a shower, lol.
My parents took the big and I have the little and he's asleep. We went to Fridays happy hour and I got a bathing suit and workout gear from kohls. That dressing room started the drinking I think. Damn lights. Baby fell asleep. Now we gotta go pick up the big to go back gome.
