I gained 40lb while pregnant. That included 13lb of baby + 2 placentas + lots of fluid so by the time I got back from the hospital I was down 20lb. In the beginning with all the breastfeeding the weight just fell off me... But eventually that plateaued thanks to the sleep deprivation + crappy eating habits. Recently I developed a pastry habit and started gaining again so now I am trying to fix my eating.
I definitely got twin skin as well as diastasis recti (my abs separated). Almost 8 months later it definitely looks way better but I don't think it will ever go back to how it was before.
I started my pregnancy 50lbs heavier than I'd like to be. I do not know the total weight gain. I do know I did not gain 20lbs by 20 weeks. My doctors were never concerned that I had gained too much. A LOT of my weight was water. I was back down to my prepregnancy weight 4 weeks PP. I gained SO MUCH when I weaned (4-6m). Twin skin- again, I started overweight, so my skin elasticity was not up to par. Plastic surgery is on our long term budget list, but not until I get my weight down and have a healthier lifestyle. I absolutely do not care about the texture or appearance of my skin but have a large flap that I have to go up at least a pants size to accommodate.
Gained almost 40 lbs the first time, about 35 lbs the second time.
Lost all of it within a couple of months the first time, about 4 lbs above pre-pregnancy weight at 6.5 weeks PP second time (now).
No twin skin first time, a bit the second time. We'll see if it sticks around. I think my skin is entitled to not bounce back all the way after back-to-back twin pregnancies.

I gained 38 pounds. I lost 35 in the first week and 5 the second week. So I'm actually down from pre pregnancy a few pounds. But people keep bringing us treats so it's not going To stay that way lol.
I managed to make it out of a twin pregnancy with 1 stretch mark that is about half an inch long. My skin is steadily tightening back up and really other than the linea nigra still hangin around you'd never know I was pregnant much less with twins. I accredit it to religiously using my belly butter all pregnancy.
How much weight did you gain? 35 pounds in 37 weeks - mono di girls 12 combined pounds of baby
How much did you lose after birth? In the first few months? I have no idea right after birth.
How far are you or when did you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight? I was to pre pregnancy weight around 8 weeks postpartum and now an 10 pounds under pre pregnancy weight...which is under where I want to be (caused by sleep deprivation, breastfeeding, and not eating well).
Did you get twin skin? Not terribly. I did have bad stretch marks from DD1 that had faded then came back with the twins. My belly skin is still soft and squishy even though I can feel my abs underneath.
I started 30 lbs heavier, gained weight after starting AD and becoming lazy lol
How much weight did you gain? At one point in time I was up 50lbs but lost a few while I was in the hospital so roughly 45lbs at delivery day.
How much did you lose after birth? In the first few months? I'm still early in the after (6 wks) , but I lost roughly 20 lbs and that is where I sit now.
Did you get twin skin? No, I think it had to do with prior pregnancies and being overweight in the past, skin was able to stretch and return fairly decently, albeit still quite a bit if fat under it.
I gained about 45lbs with the twins and with my singleton lol
3 weeks pp with the twins and I've lost 30lbs and can fit in some of my bigger prepregnancy jeans.
I'm hoping these last 15-20lbs fall off with breastfeeding.
I didn't know twin skin was a thing?! I didn't want to google either lol. I made out of this pregnancy without a stretch mark and my incision is shaping up to be barely noticeable.

How much weight did you gain? 45ish lbs
How much did you lose after birth? In the first few months? I think I lost 30 right away. Then I got back to my pre-pregnancy weight about a few months. Unfortunately, my pre pregnancy weight was about 25lbs higher than I'd like to be.
How far are you or when did you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight? I'm there, but I'm still heavier than I want to be. I'm finding it really hard to cook/eat healthy and work out. Oh, am my work pants still don't fit, even though the number on the scale is the same as it was. Weird.
Did you get twin skin? Yes. I have crazy stretch marks.
How much did you lose after birth? In the first few months? It's all a blur, I don't really remember at this point.
How far are you or when did you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight? I was back to pre-pregnancy weight by 9-12 months.
Did you get twin skin? I was left with lots of loose, crepe papery skin, an umbilical hernia, a diastasis recti, and a c-section shelf. I had the hernia surgically repaired a few months ago and they partially fixed the diastasis at that time (as much as they could without a tummy tuck). Things are better, but not great. I figure it's the price I paid to have my babies. I'd much rather have my kids than my old midsection.
Lost 30 within the 3-4 weeks after birth. I have post partum hypertension and still lots of swelling so I'm holding onto a lot of water weight still. Need to lose the last 20 (I'm 9 weeks post partum). It's not falling off like I want it to. My body hates me. Starting 21DF tomorrow.
How much weight did you gain? 37 lbs How much did you lose after birth? In the first few months? 19 lbs lighter upon home from hospital. 11lbs 13oz of baby. 9 weeks PP and I'm within 5lbs of pre-pg weight. Part of this is in my boobs! How far are you or when did you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight? TBD Did you get twin skin? I did get a few stretch marks the last week of my pg and have the post csection belly pooch that is ever so slowly getting smaller. I have yet to work out because I still have more than sporadic pain around my incision site.
I think my C-Section skin flap is the worst part about the whole thing. I don't even mind the stretch marks all that much. LOL
100% agree. I give zero fs about my tiger stripes.
As for the rest of it I don't even remember. I had such bad MS until I was on both Zofran and Diclegis I lost like 15 pounds in the first trimester. I gained appropriately after that, but dog know the final numbers without looking in my chart.
I was down to prepregnancy weight by like 3 or 4 weeks, but since then put a lot back on by not exercising and not eating as healthy as I did prepregnancy. I am weaning off the pump and as soon as that is mostly over we are going back to the healthier lifestyle and adding walks back in, but that is all I can add back in right now. I am going to call an orthopedic office tomorrow to get an appointment for my shoulder so I can figure out what exactly is wrong with it from the car accident I was in in February 2016. Though I am sure no amount of exercise will fix this body that was stretched out by triplets.

Yup. It's really disheartening for me when I'm trying to eat healthy and work out and this THING is actually physically in my way and making me look way heavier than I am. And making pants fall off. And making underwear roll. I'm done whining for today

I am still wearing the granny panties I bought for just after birth. I can't stand when my lower ones roll down!!
How much weight did you gain? 35 lbs. Delivered at 38w3d. Babies were 6lb1oz and 5lb2oz +placentas and fluid
How much did you lose after birth? I was down about 25 lb when we got home from the hospital.
In the first few months? Back to PP weight or a lb or 2 less by 4 months PP.
How far are you or when did you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight? See above.
Did you get twin skin? Nope. I didn't have any stretch marks either until about 1 week PP. That's when I started sleeping on my side again (it hurt my cs incision too much before that). Anyway, I think that's why I got a couple of small ones was from my belly hanging loose while I slept. Makes me wish I'd gotten a binder to keep everything together.
Started 126 lb. Maxed out at 170 lb... so 44 lb weight gain.
2 weeks postpartum I'm down to 136 lb (34 lb lost). 10 lb to go to be back to pre pregnancy weight and I think it might be those tricky 10 lb that takes forever to lose. It's all lower belly jiggle
I googled twin skin Happy to report I do not have anything that bad. I got some stretch marks this pregnancy that I was/am totally bummed about but I don't think they're anything to write home about and I probably have no right to complain. My belly button is now that odd horizontal shape instead of round. I'm also trying to throw myself a bone here that I'm only 2 weeks out. As my mom said, it took 9 months to get as stretched out as I was- not fair to expect to look completely 'normal' this soon.
