1. Overall, good! I feel like I'm getting back into the mindset of a healthy person- even though my diet and workouts are not all the way there yet. : )
Went to this new group workout thing twice at our rec center and group workout Saturday. Having it be a group thing makes me much more likely to go. Monday, I actually got up from a work conversation (that had already gone way past it's usefulness) and said, "Excuse me, but I have an appointment at 5 and need to step out." Which is what all the fitness magazines say you are supposed to do- treat your workout as a non-negotiable. Obviously, that can't always work, but did for this situation!
2. This week is going be interesting because of some strange situations at work and going out of town this weekend, but I'm sketching out a plan to see if I can make some/most of it happen.
Sun- Run 3-4 miles Mon- HIIT workout at Rec Center Tues- rest Wed- HIIT workout at Rec Center Thurs- Run in am Fri- Rest Sat- Run or HIIT workout at gym hotel Sun- Run or HIIT workout at gym hotel
3. I'm a meal plan failure- looking for help here.
I wrote out a huge thing then the power flashed with a huge boom that scared me and my post disappeared.
Win - losing but slowing down Fail - too many little treats
Plan this week - get outside more, no treats. I have a week to drop two pounds for my next DietBet weigh in.
Meal planning - I used to choose recipes then make grocery lists off of that. If I have a comprehensive list, I don't tend to stray from it. Prepping was just using Sundays to cut up fruit for everyone and portion out my salads or whatever I could for my lunches.
ETA - the planning part always took 1-2 hours, depending on which recipes I looked at or if I searched for new ones. Prepping took maybe an hour, half of DS2's nap time.
1. Overall a good week! Win- I ran 3x, did yoga 2x, and got in some neighborhood walks when it wasn't raining. I tracked my rating in MFP everyday. Fail- I made brownies and had more than my fair share.
2. KOKO. Exercise 5x and get in some walks. Track my eating and cut back on sweets. Def no brownies! And up my water intake a bit. Still not drinking enough.
3. I usually meal plan on Sunday evenings and then do the store Monday morning. I try to make double portions and freeze half for the next week. Then I plan around proteins on sale and kids evening activities. It is so stressful trying to figure out dinner. I hate, hate, hate it.
1. How was your week? Wins/fails? I had a really good week. Exercised 6 days, one day of rest. I really need to up my water intake though. I have been really slacking on that.
2. What's the plan for next week? Hoping to get more evening walks in, as well as sticking to my 5:30AM work outs. It's supposed to be nicer temperature wise, so I would like to get outside more.
3. For those of you who meal/snack plan/prep, what is your timeline/routine? For me it starts on the weekend, Ryan and I plan out dinners for the week and grocery shop. Lunches for the week for me are usually some kind of sandwich or salad, or leftovers from dinner. I try not to make it too complicated.

Win! Working out and eating pretty good. Took progress pics and compared to the first one from November and holy moly it made me really happy.
2. What's the plan for next week? Workout, eat healthy, and go with the mindset to take one day at a time. 3. For those of you who meal/snack plan/prep, what is your timeline/routine? I like to meal prep on sundays or Monday. I usually do simple and quick. Like grilled chicken etc.

Before and after pics are the best motivation to keep going! Great job on your progress!
