How far along are you? 9w1d today

How are you feeling? Decent. Nausea comes and goes, but the last morning dry heaving episode I had was almost a week ago. I'm still having on and off spotting, but I'm trying to hold onto the good u/s I had on Thursday. If I make it beyond this week, I'll be past my last loss milestone, so I'm nervous, but I'm trying to stay positive.

Any appointments this week? OB appt on Friday. I'm prepared to beg for him to try to use the doppler if I have to. I'll be 9w6d, and I was told they'll do it at my appointments after 10w.

QOTW: Anything you're looking forward to in April (pregnancy or non pregnancy related)? My spring break is in two weeks, and I'm volunteering at the Boston Marathon that Monday, so I'm really looking forward to that.

How far along are you? 9 weeks exactly

How are you feeling? Just tired, but overall improvement from the past few weeks. I am hungry ALL the time (and eat all the time) despite feeling like I'm losing weight. I've been getting out of breath easier and my OB basically said it's normal because my body is doing double time to keep up with the extra fluid creation.

Any appointments this week? Nope! I had my dating u/s, bloodwork, pap, etc last week. So far everything looks good on my side and #2. I will go back 4/27 for my 12 week appointment.

QOTW: Anything you're looking forward to in April (pregnancy or non pregnancy related)? We have a formal wedding which I'm NOT looking forward to at all, BUT I tried on the dress I bought before finding out I'm preggers and it still fits! So I'm hopeful that it will still fit in a few weeks. It's only snug on my upper rib cage so I think I'll be in the clear. I'm half looking forward to telling work, half not. I don't like keeping secrets, but I am waiting until my supervisor comes back from a much deserved vacation before dropping this on him. I'm also looking forward to telling the rest of our families and friends. I know my neighbor suspects so I will probably tell her in the next week or so.

TL; DR: My formal dress still fits and I'm looking forward to telling everyone I'm KU.

bethkate I don't see any reason that your OB would not use the doppler so close to 10 weeks. Definitely advocate for it!

I'm looking forward to hopefully feeling more confident and starting to tell people too. I probably won't go public until May, though.

Miss Killjoy, My OB did say they start at 10 weeks, though, so I'm just hoping they don't say that 9w6d is too early to try. I'm actually hoping that if they can't find it on Friday that they'll send me for another u/s to be sure.

My doc doesn't like to use the Doppler until 12 weeks because it can be hard to find at 10-11 and can cause anxiety. She knows me well and knows I'm pretty chill and realistic, so she's always broken the rules for me in all kinds of ways, but she doesn't generally use it that early.

Ah yea. Now I'm remembering the nurse having issues at 11 weeks with DS. They sent us in for an u/s to make sure (I had some bleeding).

How far along are you? Somewhere between 6 and 7.5 weeks. I thought 7 + 4 but ultrasound yesterday said somewhere closer to 6 weeks.

How are you feeling? Anxious. The bleeding has tapered off and its now brown. The baby measuring behind has me concerned. I turned a cheapie on the 3rd, so I doubt I can be that far off on dates. And I don't have a f/u currently scheduled.

Any appointments this week? No. Its not supposed to be til the 11th but I'm going to call the midwives tomorrow and see what they say.

QOTW: Anything you're looking forward to in April (pregnancy or non pregnancy related)? Nothing springs to mind (see what I did there?!)

Miss Killjoy, I would imagine that, in general, they probably wouldn't send someone for an u/s here if they couldn't find the hb at 10 weeks either, but with my history, I'm pushing for all the monitoring I can get.

How are you feeling? Better than last week, but it comes and goes. I'm not nauseous as much as I just don't feel like eating sometimes. Still tired, but not as many night time wake ups!

Any appointments this week? Not this week. I have a dating ultrasound and ob appt next week.

QOTW: Anything you're looking forward to in April (pregnancy or non pregnancy related)? Telling the kids, Easter egg hunts, Easter food, seeing Phantom of the Opera with DD and DH, and just some other fun outings we have planned.

@snuff9861, I'm sorry you're dealing with this. It sucks so much. FX everything turns out to be fine. I'd totally call and ask for a f/u ultrasound. With the bleeding and the fact that baby was measuring behind, they shouldn't be just waiting to see what happens. They really should get you in for another u/s this week.

Yes but technically I'm not a patient yet. My intake appt isn't until the 11th. I imagine Emerg sent my paperwork to my GP who I'm not a patient for during this pregnancy because I'm going to be under midwifery care. Currently it's a cluster fuck.

How are you feeling? Still just fine (which makes me a bit nervous). Only symptom is exhaustion. Blah. I'll be very anxious if I don't start feeling bad by Friday, which is when symptoms started in my pregnancy with DS. Yes, I know that's stupid. I blame pgal brain.

Any appointments this week? No, no appointments for yeeeeeeeeears!!! Otherwise known as 2 weeks from tomorrow.

They were able to do a regular u/s for me last week rather than trans vag which surprised me, but I think that's different than actually being able to hear the hb using the doppler (like you said).

How are you feeling? Quite tired. Food aversion is still here, but I need to eat every couple of hours. Nausea has calmed down slightly.

Any appointments this week? First one on Tuesday, yay. Looking forward on her point of view if we should go by LMP or O date for EDD as it's a 2 weeks difference. Which obviously can be a lot, and I'll be sure to mention it in my first scan, if the baby isn't measuring 12w.

Well I'm hoping to have my first scan by the end of the month, should be in the last week or so. Haven't really got anything overly exciting in April apart from that!

beefinch, GL at your appointment! I'll be curious to hear what date they want to go by too. I would guess they'd probably go by LMP until your u/s shows that you're not that far along yet.

How are you feeling? Absolutely awful. I'm so nauseous. I even wake up every hour gagging. This is worse than any other pregnancy so far.

Any appointments this week? Friday morning is my 1st scan

@jj32 what combo are you taking? I'm doing 25mg of B6 4 times a day and half a Unisom before bed. I think that's what I did last pregnancy but I don't remember exactly.

How far along are you? 7+1, durh, counting is hard. 

How are you feeling? Eh. Physically it's hit or miss. My rhinitis and boobs are always full force, but my nausea is on and off. I appreciate the break but at the same time it sends my PGAL brain spinning. I'm starting to have more positive feelings about this pregnancy then anxiety at this point, which is good.

Any appointments this week? Noooooo, one more week! The downside to finding out at 3+1 that I'm pregnant; the wait to my 8 week appointment is soooooo long.

QOTW: Anything you're looking forward to in April (pregnancy or non pregnancy related)? Spring break! I was excited to use up my baby boot camp prepaid session that expire this month and finishing This Is Us, but we're going to Chattanooga now instead. It'll still be fun and good, but not the relaxing at home week I envisioned.

cnf2013, Waiting 6ish weeks for your first appointment must feel like an eternity! I found out at 3w2d and my first u/s was at 6w5d, and that felt like a million years! Have fun on your trip.

That is what they did for me. They changed to my ovulation date at the US.

+1. Made my appt according to LMP but then corrected based on how baby was measuring at u/s.

How are you feeling? Meh. Nausea has been pretty constant the last few days but not too severe so far. I am starting to feel more tired. I started taking b6 3 times a day and I think it's helping but not 100% sure. I haven't tried adding the unisom in yet.

Any appointments this week? First appt is next week. Eek.

QOTW: Anything you're looking forward to in April (pregnancy or non pregnancy related)? My first appt. Easter will be DS's first time hunting eggs so that should be fun. And H and I are going on vacation at the end of the month soI'm excited for that.

How are you feeling? Ok? It depends on the day... today I am super cranky.

fknhostile, I feel your misery, sorry you feel awful too. Same with the B6 & I took a whole Unisom at night but felt soooo tired today but it did work because I didn't feel sick. I am going to try 1/2 dose tonight. Did half work for you? 

No. But I feel like of I take a whole one I won't be able to function the next day. I really hope we both get some relief soon.
