1. We are 3 months in to the new year! How are you doing on your long-term goals? I'm not sure? Main goal was to cut my time on my 10k, but I haven't run a 10k since February. So I should probably sign up for something soon.
2.How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? awful. It's so hard for me being home with a sick kid.
3. What are your goals for this week? more water!
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?Being home in general is harder for me to keep a good water drinking schedule. I feel like I'm always running around and not taking the time to stay hydrated. I even tried to fill muy big water glass, but whenever I do BH ends up drinking it. For some reason, my water is more way better than his.
5. GTKY: What is your most embarrassing fitness moment? I don't have one from fitness, but I do have a million surrounding fitness activities. I seen to have a knack for hurting myself after I work out. Like when I was walking home from yoga and fell off the curb and sprained my ankle.
1. We are 3 months in to the new year! How are you doing on your long-term goals?
I'm pretty happy with how my mindset has changed to feeling the need to workout almost every day.
2.How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week?
I finished my March local challenge and started April's yesterday. Starting the new month is always good because I know I'll want to finish what I started lol!
3. What are your goals for this week?
The usual, keep up with both workouts ✅ keep the snacking in check or healthy choices
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
Friday we had the 75 day measurement check with BBM. It's the first time since I started that my weight went up slightly. And it's the first time I know I'm ok with it because I know where I'm changing. Again, sorry for anyone following BBM for the repeat, but I was pretty excited to really see a physical change this photo comparison.
5. GTKY: What is your most embarrassing fitness moment?
I wouldn't say embarrassing, because I don't embarass easily, but the first thing that came to mind was the time I was in a beach volleyball league, we were in playoffs, they were beating us and needed one more point. He served it right into my face, accidentally, but super hard. I was knocked right back and done. Even the entire opposing team came running over to our side of the net and by the time I opened my eyes and could comprehend life again I had mine and their team all circling me staring at me. I was like "well, you guys won!"
1. Pretty good overall but over the last month or so life has gotten in the way so I haven't been working out as frequently as I had been in the past. The good news is soccer practices start up again this week and H and the kids go without me so I have at least one evening mostly to myself again.
2. Okay. Could have been better, could have been worse. My friend's visit was the focus of my weekend and during the work week it is hit or miss which days I will have time and how much.
3. Working out at least Wednesday, Friday, and either Saturday or Sunday.
4. N/A
5. Throwback to elementary school field day: One running event, forget which one, they announced I was the winner. I knew that couldn't be true, because I have always been a terrible runner with low stamina. Turns out I was really the slowest one of the group. I really wasn't that embarrassed but looking back at it, that was pretty funny.
1. We are 3 months in to the new year! How are you doing on your long-term goals? Pretty well. I'm down about 8 lbs overall, which while not much, is something! And on a whole, I've been doing pretty good about eating healthier - less junk food has been consumed, and we've been incorporating different veggies and healthy foods into our meals we normally hadn't. Last week we had salmon for the first time in forever, and I didn't hate it!
2.How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I KILLED my step goal on Monday, and then naturally got a cold that killed me the rest of the week. But the flip side is the cold also killed my appetite, so I ate pretty healthy too - lots of chicken soup. This weekend the weather was beautiful and I met my step goal both days with long walks with the dog
3. What are your goals for this week? Meet my step goal, stick to our meal plan, and no sweets after dinner.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? None really this week.
5. GTKY: What is your most embarrassing fitness moment? I normally avoid group fitness activities, so I'm having a hard time with this. I do remember when I took yoga, there were some older people in the class who were much more flexible than I was, but that's not really that embarrassing.
1. We are 3 months in to the new year! How are you doing on your long-term goals? Goal wise I'm doing okay. I've hit a plateau and am pretty discouraged by it. I'm down 17lbs since January which isn't keeping up with my goal of 2lbs/week which should be attainable for me since I have so much weight to lose. I want to hit down 30lbs by my 30th birthday at the end of May. If I really tighten everything up I think I might be close to reaching it. I'm really looking forward to warmer weather because it means I'll want to eat salads again. I am down a size, look better in clothes, feel better about life, and am much stronger. So overall things are going well but numbers-wise I'm not thrilled.
2.How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? I did well during the work week then let things slide a smidge food wise during my weekend. I've got to be better about that. I did much better wtih water during the work week but again let it slide while at home. O loves bringing me my water bottle if it's within reach so I should use that to my advantage.
3. What are your goals for this week? Keep up with the 60+ oz of water per day, crush all the workouts, track everything I eat.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts? My new lifting shoes are great and make squatting so much easier. My form is improving drastically from them. I have Zumba shoes coming tonight that will hopefully make it an even more enjoyable experience.
5. GTKY: What is your most embarrassing fitness moment? I'm a klutz so there are many. Most recently was last week at Zumba...I only took half a dose of my inhaler prior to class and had to stop because I couldn't breathe. No one really knew what was going on but I felt like such a doofus standing in the back for 15 minutes until I could breathe again. In high school PE we had to run up and down stairs. I fell down them more than once. Like weekly.

1. We are 3 months in to the new year! How are you doing on your long-term goals? Currently down 8 pounds, which isn't great. Considering I haven't been doing any exercise outside of normal work stuff, that's not too bad though. I've been struggling with drinking enough water again though.
2.How did you do on your goal progress/choices this past week? Water consumption has been a struggle. I did better about remembering to pack (and then bring!) Lunches and snacks.
3. What are your goals for this week? Pushing water. Being on vacation makes this a bit harder for me.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts?
5. GTKY: What is your most embarrassing fitness moment? I can't think of any specific moments, but I do trip a lot. We were playing 500 when I was in 4th grade or so and I tripped and smashed my face on the sidewalk.
