I've lost 8 lbs with these 2 diet bets in a row. And I won a $150 diet bet credit, so I guess I'll do a third one. That would get me under the next milestone weight and within 5 lbs of my final goal. Then I'll just have to maintain... eek! Once I get there (or close at least) my goal will be to worry less about the # on the scale, and work on toning and feeling good.
The new gym we joined hasn't opened yet, but is supposed to be opening this month, so yay. Once it opens I'm planning on going at twice a week to do some cardio. I haven't bothered to weigh myself recently, but I doubt I've lost anything. Also planning on walking for at least 20 minutes every day at lunch as long as it's not raining. I want to also try to get in a family walk in the evening when I get home at least a couple of times a week.
I've been eating my exact GD diet for the last four days or whatever, and I have to say it's been pretty easy to slip back into it. Counting carbs is dumb but I remember it so well it isn't much work.
I ate an entire cabbage in 24h.
I've been trying to exercise each day, on top of my usual walks with the kids. Yoga, light weights, or whatever.
Usually it's just a weird 20m YouTube video during nap. But better than nothing!

I finished my 12 week HIIT commitment, I guess I need to keep that habit up. I feel like I should be doing more running to pair with my strength training, but I HATE running. I should also diet, but damnit I eat pretty well already, and I don't want to calorie-count! It just isn't worth it to me.
I guess I am kind of meh about kicking ass right now. But I'm here, maybe I can soak up some motivation from you all.
I probably won't start yet since there's still snow, but my summer goal is to do a 5k in under 30 minutes. My orchestra's 5k fundraiser is in October, and I'd like to "beat Beethoven " with a little more wiggle room.
My fitbit says I have 21k steps and 8 miles today.
My block is like a half mile at most. I'm beginning to hate this thing. It says I did a half mile at 5 am. And while I was likely awake, I wasn't walking.

I'm trying my best to eat better. I need to start walking more. We're members of a gym but when would you take a baby to the gym? I was thinking after cold and flu season but I'm not sure when that ends.

The local gym I'm not a part of with childcare doesn't allow them before 3m.
