Sunday, I tilled our garden and my abs (lolololol) are still so sore. Maybe this weekend I'll start planting a few things.
I'm jealous. I finally have yard space for a garden, and there are a couple of raised beds already built in the back yard, but it's just not going to happen this year. Maybe I'll do some tomatoes in pots.

Last year, deer kept eating our stuff, so we're going to put a fence up to hopefully deter them.
Hi all. I'm here. Starting the countdown to the AP Exam. I'm teaching my final Calculus lesson of the year today (eek!) and after this we just review. I'm so ready for spring break. And, I think I finally have my blood sugar on track, which is a relief. I really need to force myself to get up earlier so I can eat a better breakfast though. Today I had dry triscuits and a string cheese. Blah.

That was always a problem for people in our old neighborhood too. The deer were so brave, they would just hang out in the cul-de-sac and people's front yards to eat their stuff. I'm hoping we won't have deer in our yard here, since we're in the middle of a larger subdivision.
The bunnies get all of our stuff, but we planted some marigolds last year in the corners of our beds and it seemed to deter them some.
H convinced me to start some seedlings this year (I usually just throw seeds in the soil, say a prayer, see what sprouts up). The seedlings were doing pretty well and we took the cover off... until H sprayed them all with vinegar thinking it was water. He did it two days in a row and it wasn't until he was like "why does it smell like vinegar" that he made the connection. Our poor plants are so dead, but there are a couple that might make it. I'll probably end up throwing some seeds in the garden bed next weekend and seeing what grows.

Deer kill my mojo. I have soap and dryer sheets in my yard and its kept them away towards the end of the season, however, I think I pissed a few a them off because they threw up and crapped in my yard in protest lol.
becole do they stick on well? Also I'm wondering if once we take them down, do they leave marks that I'd have to fix?
I bought vinyl ones that specifically say they can be reused. They do stick on very well. I ordered off amazon and they even sent me a sample of three green colors because I wanted an exact match. I can try to search my history if you want the sellers name. I haven't tried to peel them off yet. I planned to sell the house with them on if I couldn't peel them off easily.

lindsay - I've used them in the past. They stick perfectly. When it was time to remove, huge, huge pita. It took me at least an hour to remove because it was so stuck to the wall it would rip as I tried to remove, so it came off in pieces. And it does leave a residue behind. I had to paint over it to cover the residue because it would not freaking come off. My friend who's a painter, warned me about it and he was right.

We had one in our old house that stuck really well. We didn't take it down. The previous owners of our current house had them all over the walls, but we could tell they weren't stuck on very well when we toured it. They removed them and there is no trace.
I'm here, barely. We moved baby into the crib this week, she's been rolling around a lot. So we gave up the swaddle too and she is just not adjusting good to sleeping in there and I'm sooooo tired. Add to that, a stomach virus going around at N's school. They sent a message about it so I decided to pick her up and keep her home for the rest of week since my parents are in town to help watch her, I just don't want her to get sick for her bday. Fx she's in the clear. mominthemaking14 hope A is ok, they said it's mostly diarrhea that lasts for 1-2 days.

lindsay I bought some from Michaels (I think) but I can't remember the brand. It was a tree with blue and pink birds. They stuck well, didn't leave a residue, and I took them off and stuck them to O's wall when we switched nurseries. We ordered a different brand for E's room when we moved her to a big girl room and they slowly fell off the wall.
The issue might have been our paint? But now that I think about it we also have pink sparkly flowers that I stuck to look like they are growing out of her dresser and those stayed on in E's room.

lindsay We used decals in our old house too and they came off fine with no residue. The only issue was them coming off in pieces and it took forever, like sstwinklinglites said.

Omg, these boys. I'm on my second glass of wine already. I'll be drunk by bedtime at this rate. I dunno if it's because H had been here for a couple weeks in a row, but this solo parenting week is not going normal or smoothly. Counting down the minutes...
