Sorry I've been mia lately. I've been busy and trying to limit phone usage during lent. But I'm going to try to get these check ins back on track. I'm totally gonna half ass it today though!!
What's up with 2 and 3 year olds? Is everyone else's baby suddenly a kid? What is the best thing your preschooler does? What's the worst?
As always, accepting topics. Sorry for the lack of tags today.

Um yes. P will be 3 next month, and she is suddenly a kid. She's so grown up. And it's amazing, but she's most likely my last, and I just really miss my tiny baby. Wah!!
The best thing she does is her hugs and kisses. She's so sweet and lovey dovey and I just love it. But I also really love this one thing she says... I don't know what it means, but any time you ask her to do something, she says "hold on, I gotta dibble dabble." Or if you ask her what she's doing, she will say "the dibble dabble." I have no idea what a dibble dabble is, but it's a verb, and the way she says it is so cute.
The worst? Probably that she repeats every single thing that E says. And E never stops talking. So E is just talking a mile a minute all day long, then P is just repeating every single word. My ears are so exhausted!
DS1 is 2 and mischievous beyond belief. He points his penis up in his diaper and pees out over the top then comes running to say he peed. And he will even do it right in front of us and tell us to look. He pooped and peed on the potty last week. He hurt his shoulder quite badly so we are doing different things to try to make it better but you can imagine a 2 yr old in a sling lasts long🙄 His doctor is conveniently away this week.
Bad things he heard someone say fucking asshole and now repeats it everywhere. It's hilarious but very bad and he knows it.
DD is busy helping her brother do every horrible thing to the house. She also reminds us often she's a person too or more like a grownup who has feelings. For example tonight I was holding ds1 and I fell backwards in the rocking chair and kicked DD by accident. She is not talking to me she's mad. She's taking both a science class and ballet/tap and loves both she wears her tutu all day.

DS1 is 3 and overall super awesome. He's really helpful. He has the best commentary on everything. I just love all the phrases he's saying now.
He's now in a toddler bed and I have no clue why but he has yet to get out of bed on his own. He waits for us to get him from naps or in the morning. I almost want to be like dude, you can just walk out. But I don't want to be the one to give him that idea.
Potty training regression hell! I don't know what happened. But he pees and poops in his underwear every day. All day. The only time he doesn't is when I catch him early enough and tell him it's time to go to the potty. And with 3 kids, I'm almost never on time to take him. Ugh! Diapers were so much easier.
My girl is turning 3 next week...I can't believe it. I just looked at a bunch of pictures of her at this time last year and I felt a little sad. I love how she is now, but I am missing the baby/small toddler stage too.
I can't think of any one best thing...I just love taking her places now and hearing her commentary. Love all of her obsessions: dressing up, collecting rocks, collecting coins, disney princesses, and "Masha and the Bear."
Not so much a fan of having to tell her what to do about ten zillion times, especially at bedtime and also getting into the carseat. Super frustrating.
Potty training...we are really just beginning with it. She pees but doesn't poop in the potty. She is pretty on board with wearing underwear at home, but is still fully in pull ups at DC and seems to be hesitant to pee in the potties there.
