Sorry I've been mia lately. I've been busy and trying to limit phone usage during lent. But I'm going to try to get these check ins back on track. I'm totally gonna half ass it today though!!
What's up with 4 and ups? How is school going? Plans for summer? Do youfdo camps or classes or anything?
What is the best thing your preschooler does? What's the worst?
As always, accepting topics. Sorry for the lack of tags today. And for c&p from 2&3.

E is doing great in school. She loves it. Plus the schedule and routine works well for her. I'm not excited for summer. I will def have to do something to keep her busy. We do the Y for 2 hours every morning, but I will need to find a way to fill their afternoons. Hopefully I can find a gymnastics class again where they can have class at the same time. Last year we did a one week dance camp that was adorable.
The best thing E does is always share with her little sister. Even when E gets something special as a reward, she shares it with P. Such a sweet sister. The worst is when she is ugly to us. I guess she picked it up at school, but she does a lot of sighing and eyerolling and ughing and saying mean things. I was doing time out every time, but it's not making a difference so I'm not sure where to go from here.
J is now 4 1/2. She loves preschool and does well there. We enrolled her in kindergarten and will be going to orientation in a couple of weeks. I am so emotional over this!
No summer camps, but her preschool does summer activities and has a water day 1 day a week. She goes back to swim class starting in may.
She also can get a big attitude. We have started a reward jar. If she behaves and does well beads are added. If she misbehave including whining, shouting no, tantrums she loses beads. When the jar is full she gets a reward. Mostly works, but she can also lose her mind when I take beads out which then results in losing more.
She is so sweet with her little brother. She can make him laugh all the time and is always helping him. She goes full speed with everything which is exhausting, but fun. She is so creative and makes up songs and dances. Her artwork looks like actual things now and she is reading short sentences.
J is four going on 40. She gets super serious about things like having her way, telling little bro the rules (or tattling), and sorting. Oh my, the sorting. Girlfriend is fascinated by patterns, numbers, and order. DH is a numbers guy, so she comes by it honestly.
J is in preschool twice a week and honestly isn't a fan. She will be in pre-k next year. I'm having trouble finding a 3 day/week program. Her current school requires four days and with as bad as drop offs go, I'm not super anxious to double the days. Im honestly looking into homeschooling her since I'm not finding a better option. No camps this summer, maybe VBS at our church.
J, worst? She tailspins in a downward fashion. It will start with her chasing her brother, she knocks him down and I ask her to be careful. It happens again, I say, let's do something else. She grabs a letter off the counter that is supposed to go out in the mail, and starts to open it, I ask her to put it back, she keeps going....you get the picture. It ends with her shouting that she wants to break the door/floor/dog/etc. This is new behavior since she started school. They have several serious behavior problems. We are transitioning away from naps (she won't take them most days) and I think this is part of the problem.
