Formula feeding

So I think I'm going to start weaning Dd2 to formula, and I was just wondering if any of you who formula feed could give me some info on your experience/schedule. I know every baby is different.
How old?
How much do they weigh?
Do they get solids yet?
How much formula, how often, how many feedings in 24 hours?

How old? DD is 5 1/2 mos (6 mos on 16th)
How much do they weigh? She weighed 18 lbs at urgent care on Sunday with her clothes on and a full dirty diaper (lol), so probably more like 17.5 or so
Do they get solids yet? Yes - she eats a jar of the phase/step 1 food per day, usually half before lunch and half after lunch. She's still getting the hang of the spoon/eating, all that jazz.
How much formula, how often, how many feedings in 24 hours? Right now we are doing 7 oz bottles every 3 hours during the day. She ends up with 5 bottles a day (35 oz) b/c she STTN.

How much formula, how often, how many feedings in 24 hours? 6 oz every 2-4 hours. About 30 oz a day, but up to 36 on some days.

How old? 5.5 months (6 months on the 14th)

How much do they weigh? Not sure. He seems to be in the midst of a growth spurt right now, but at 5 months he was 16lbs even. I'd guess somewhere around 17lbs now.

Do they get solids yet? We've just started introducing them in the last week. At his best, he ate 1/4 of a jar, about an hour before his "dinner time" bottle was due. With DS1 I started out with 1/2 a jar about a half hour before his dinner time bottle, but this one gets hangry and doesn't tolerate much the closer it is to his feeding time. He's still trying to get the hang of it.

How much formula, how often, how many feedings in 24 hours? He's up to 8oz bottles every 3-4 hrs during the day. He STTN (7-6ish), so he ends up taking about 36-40oz per day (4-5 feedings). I looked back on my notes from DS1 and he seems to have followed a similar pattern of upping to 8oz bottles around this time, getting the hang of solids, and then falling into a solid food twice a day/4 6oz bottles pattern by the end of his 6th month. So, again, I'm suspecting a growth spurt here.

DS is 6 1/2 months old. He weighs 19.2 pounds and eating food is his favorite thing to do. He's been on purees for 2 1/2 months and we just started him on table food this weekend, after getting the go-ahead from the pedi on Friday. He's still getting mostly purees at this point, so he eats baby food (the larger containers/step 2 or step 3) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. He typically has about four-five 6oz bottles a day; one first thing in the morning, one mid-morning, one early afternoon and one in the evening. The oz and number of bottles does vary, but he typically drinks between 24 and 30 oz of formula a day, on top of the food.

We are on the same wavelength sanibel21. I'm going to start the weaning process next week (at least for pumping) so we'll be starting formula then!

How much formula, how often, how many feedings in 24 hours? 6oz every 3 hours when she is awake. Usually around 30oz from 7:30am-8:30pm Shes down at 8:30pm, usually until at least 6am.

Hi fellow FFers. I posted in today's thread but wanted to post here too - Target had their formula on clearance. We use Similac Sensitive but I also use Target's sensitive because it's the same kind. Not sure how widespread this is but it's a great deal. The same size Similac is $25 and I got these for $12.

How much formula, how often, how many feedings in 24 hours? I had to guess this the other day. I'd say about 30 oz. She breaks it up strangely though. Sometimes she'll take 2 oz and then wait 45 mins before finishing the other 4 oz.

Wow I can't believe we are at 6 months already!

B is 24 weeks and will be 6 months on the 21st. He weighed 17 lbs at his urgent care visit last week. He hasn't gotten any solids yet but that's mostly lack of time on my part.

Since B has been formula fed since the beginning I know he takes anywhere between 15-22 oz of formula a day. He takes 3-4 oz bottles every 3 hrs and refuses to STTN. Some bottles he will only drink 1-2 oz in a bottle after breastfeeding. I've had such a struggle nursing him though that I want to get to the full year before we ween. I'm just proud I've gotten this far!
