shellbell - love TOMS. I might ask for a new pair for my birthday.
@jacks605, I have good luck with Loft when it comes to jeans. My sister has some dress pants from there and really likes them.
When DS was born I went to the local thrift shop and got a bunch of jeans in several sizes up and shirts in a size up; that's my post partum wardrobe. I may have to go get some shorts or capris soon.
I got some jeans from Loft and tops as well, after I lost most of the weight and figured out my new shape was staying I also got a shirt from target while I was pregnant with LO because it was on sale and too cute to pass up. I can't wait until the belly pooch goes down a little bit more - then I can wear it!
@jacks605 I get all of my dress pants from Ann Taylor. They hold up beautifully and they have curvy which works with my shape but they also have regular and petite. Love them.
shellbell I might break down and get me a pair of toms for this summer! Gotta pop that cherry at some point. I like the ones you got though.
loves2shop4shoes I love the loafers from J Crew Factory. The leopard shoes I have on in the dressing room pic are one of my pairs of loafers from there. They also have some cute peep toe flats that I have my eye on right now.
Also, if you guys haven't heard of 6pm.com, get on that. Occasionally they have super sales. I once got 6 pairs of shoes for $100 total with shipping. Including two pairs of Charles Davids.
This thread is giving me life rn. DH's and my anniversary is Thursday and he always asks me what I want for my "big gift" and then he surprises me with something small. I told him a gift card to the mall for my big gift so I could buy clothes before going back to work. Cannot. Wait. I am going to make a whole day out of it.

I thought you meant you tell him what you want and he cheaps out instead. I'm glad that's not the case.

I bought a crap ton of v-neck t shirts from target. I pretty much just wear that and jeans in the office unless I have to meet with someone. My mom works at a cute little boutique and she sent me a bunch of dresses. My mom can look at a picture of someone and pick clothes that look good on their body and usually in the right size. She's magical. So I'm just going to let her send me clothes as she sees them.

I LOVE 6pm! It's the outlet arm of zappos...da bomb!
shellbell Haha no he gets anxious on bigger gift items because he's afraid I won't like it (Even though I always do - he's a great gift giver) so he likes me to tell him what I want. I loooove surprises (hence team green) so we settled on me telling him something for one thing and him surprising me with something small.
I basically want to recreate this look. Need wide leg high rise pantsand jeans and flowy high- necked halters. Then I could pair them with sweaters/ blazers/ jackets and whatever cute shoes/ booties. Classic and casual and doesn't scream mom. Or maybe it does. I don't know. Problem is I can't find what I'm looking for.
loves2shop4shoes I wish I hadn't clicked the loquet link. I'm in love.Unfortunately that is no where in our near future. I need a back deck/patio and a central vacuum before I can think about expensive jewelry I hope he gets you one so we can vicariously live through you.

I had a hard time telling him I wanted it. Normally I have zero problem shelling out huge money for things for him. But for myself... well. Like I said, I had hand me downs, clothes from college, and torn/stained clothes in my closet.
I'm trying to work on accepting that I m worthy of nice things and it's ok to ask for what I really want. This is why I'm in therapy... I've got more issues than Vogue.
