Well the reason for our strange schedule yesterday was apparently because little guy isn't feeling well. He spiked a fever yesterday afternoon. I'm thinking EI, so we're headed to the ped as soon as he wakes up and hopefully it's a quick fix. Luckily, W's mom is off work today and told me to take my time coming in. I do love them.
Also, posted on FB, but wanted to make sure you all were aware. I'm collecting gently used shoes to be sent overseas. They give our rescue 25c/ pair for bundling and packaging them, so we're hoping to collect a bunch to help with some vet costs.

I may have a bag. I can't remember if we already took them to the VA vets or not.
My H finally finished the plumbing last night. 4 trips to HD and 3 days. You all can be sure this is his last plumbing job. I told him I hope he enjoyed his last time doing anything plumbing related. It really was a simple job but he didn't have the right tools. So it was like remove hardware- realize you can't unscrew bolt or reach the pipe, etc.. Go get tools and get those pieces off. Realize what's underneath them and you need a different part or piece. Go get those pieces and start to put them on- realize kit that you bought is missing a piece. Return to store and get another kit. Continue on. Realize angle of handle installation means no hot water. Uninstall and reinstall handle. So annoying. And I'm mad he called a plumber sunday and they just talked him through it instead of coming and taking our $. Please take my money, I want my time back .

dogmama22 Sorry Z isn't feeling well. I may have some kids shoes. Are adult dress shoes ok? I have some heels I don't wear anymore, but I'll have to check their condition.
becole IME that's always how plumbing projects go. Our plumber guy will usually come over, tell us what's wrong and how to fix it, and then tell H to call if he has any trouble fixing it. He never charges us either. We keep using him because he will always find time to stop by the same day we call.
Yay mrscatfarmer13 !!! I was thinking in my head it might happen soon!!! Must have had a hunch. Congrats! So excited for you. I'm sure you're cautiously happy.
I'm feeling like I need to get serious about PT cause her diapers are staying dry for a good 2 hours or so, but I feel like I keep making excuses since I wanna just take 3-4 days and stay home and put her in underwear. We just don't have a completely free weekend but I guess I'll just have to suck it up and do it.
My excuse for this weekend is we are moving our stuff from the house to storage Saturday, Sun is a bday party, and Monday morning I am taking my mom to the Dr. Lol I can probably start Sunday and just put her in a pull up in the car. GL this weekend!
Your girls will be fully PT before my DS1. Man he is tough. He did however tell his teacher he had to poop yesterday and finished in the potty so that is real actual progress.
I'm not sure how to handle the bday party on Sunday. I know it's "against the rules" to do more than short outings out on day 2. Thinking I could either fudge it with leaving on the naptime diaper until we get to the party, and then trying to go the potty at the party and put a pull-up on. Heck no to commando at a play place lol.
Or, do I do commando and hope for the best with prompting for potty breaks? I just think it's too fun of a thing for her and she'll not want to take potty breaks.

I would play it by ear depending on how she's doing. If she's successfully getting her pee in the potty and she's willing to go potty right before getting in the car and playing, she would probably be okay. DS was ready by day 2 for a short outing but only if he had already pooped for the day because that was his struggle. If I knew he just peed, I knew he would be accident free at least an hour. Longer if he wasn't drinking anything. They say commando but I would maybe use undies as a backup at a playplace for an accident and bring a change of clothes. Then right back to commando when you get home. It might be obvious on day 1 she's not going to get it quickly and you quit by day 2. Lol. Or you see that she still isn't getting pee in the potty and that she needs a pull up for an ouTting. That could happen as well.

lindsay, if you want to do underwear sunday for the party, I like the training underwear that have the thicker lining in them. So if they do pee, it's usually not a huge puddle (unless they've been holding it for a while and it's a ton of pee).

lindsay, babylove518, good luck with PT just remember to be patient and expect some back and forth.
I about killed our DC closer yesterday -- we had two weeks of no accidents (so I'm broke from all the damn prizes) then she pooped on herself while outside A claims she told the teacher, teacher claims A did tell her but she didn't move fast enough to make it ... poop is so damn difficult lol.
Drop off is okay on days when I don't need to bring a bunch of stuff. The baby is holding his head up on his own so it's getting much easier to carry him down the hall with a bag or holding a hand since I can take him out of the bucket. They keep telling me they want more milk. More frozen backup milk. And asking when he's going to start food. I'm like he's almost there folks. He needs to be 6 months and sitting up. I know 90% of other people do food earlier but we all do our own research and come to different conclusions about what's best. Im also researching blw (basically giving him table food instead of purees.) I can't decide if I want to send food for him to have at daycare or just let them do purees.

becole we did purrees for like a month then it was a 50/50 split with BLW, then mostly BLW by the end of that month . I mostly kept pouches to take on the go, but it was much easier to just given M a a little of what we were having.

I feel like they've been pushing you to do things faster and do them their way with baby. They're acting like every baby in their care is the same. I'd be so annoyed with them at this point.
