notagoddess do you know which store the diapers are from? Just exchange for the bigger size. The boxes are all the same price; you just get fewer diapers in bigger sizes.

Such cute babies!!! Jealous of everyone with smiling babies, R isn't smiling yet. Probably partly because he is pretty fussy lately and the amount of time he's happy is limited.
I had my Nexplanon inserted today. It's my birth control, which most people I talk to haven't heard of. It's like a toothpick that goes in your arm. It's good for 3 years and safe while breastfeeding. I had it after have C and loved it.
Here are R and I on a walk enjoying this beautiful day, before cold crappy weather comes back tomorrow.

loves2shop4shoes we are in those same Jammie's tonight I just clean it with warm soapy water and wring it out then let it air dry.
notagoddess return them? I opened my NB box and used about 5 before I laughed and switched to 1s. We are now in 2s. I plan to make my gf a diaper cake with the left overs.
We started serious potty training today after nap. 3 accidents on the floor but it seems that third one triggered something. She's been telling us when she needs go now and no more pee accidents after that and we got a poop in the potty! I just hope she continues this tomorrow. I need wine now though. Freaking exhausting.

flyinghorses6 and shellbell I bought a box of 216 and used maybe 30, then I bought a pack of 35 and used about 10. I can't return the opened packages. I'll give them to the next of my friends who has a baby.

Ohhh, I thought they were unopened boxes. Looks like you're learning how to make a diaper cake for a friend!
Women's shelters may also take them. That would probably be tax deductible.
Do wubbanubs help keep the damn paci in their mouth? Or is it just for cute?
It helps a little. I think it's even better when they're a little more coordinated and can use the stuffed animal part to help push it in their own mouth. We never got that far with DS, though, because he decided he hated all pacifiers before he could do that.

So H just asked me, while I was nursing the baby before bed, when I was going to be ready for bed. Um, like an hour ago, but I have to finish feeding the baby and getting her to sleep before I can go to sleep. It's not an exact science at this stage of her life. What kind of question is that!?
For easter baskets, we're keeping things pretty small. I'm going to do a bunch of nail polish and funky socks for A, some cute little gardening things and a book for G, and a little stuffed bunny and squishy/ crinkle book for Sabine. Egg hunt in the house, or maybe backyard if it's nice, will have fruit snacks in them.
We're supposed to get snow tomorrow. So. Over. It. And I have to drive out of town for Sabine's hip appt so that will be lovely. I really hope we can start weaning her out of it soon.

Love all the tiny smiles! I'm glad someone brought up easter baskets. That has not even been on my radar. Today was fun, DH watched the baby after dinner so I got to play outside with DD1. She had a blast organizing sticks and rocks in a terra cotta pot. Baby has been taking up all my play time recently. I really miss my "big" girl. It feels like she has grown up so much these past couple of months and I am missing out on it. Here's the tiny one on the playmat this morning. We still hate tummy time. *poof*
I play clarinet in 2 wind ensembles and clarinet/saxophone/bad flute for community theaters. I'm on hiatus with the musicals until fall at the earliest. We play standard wind band repertoire with one band and a mix of music from classical to wind band lit to British music since the director is British.
That is awesome! I was in my college wind ensemble, and I didn't love a lot of the music. I felt like the director always picked athletic over aesthetic. But I love playing for musicals, and I love orchestral music.
What instrument do you play? I would love to play in a community orchestra, I miss the repertoire although there has been a good bit that has a wind lit. arrangement that is usually killer for clarinets since we typically get the violin parts.

Thanks for all the feedback regarding Easter baskets. I found a matching bib to go along with the onesie as well as a soft basket with rattles attached. I also bought hats for his head since many 0-3 month hats don't fit. I might buy a book or 2 but that is it.

I think a PP said this but if you are on any baby swap groups on facebook you can sell there and get something for them.

I'm super frustrated with H. We had been having a really good week since our talk on Saturday. Then in marriage counseling he basically said our conversation didn't happen the way it did and started invalidating other things about himself that I know to be true.
Like dude. It's not an affront to you to make a comment about you not liking Christmas. You don't like Christmas. Your dad died a week before Christmas when you were 10. That's not an attack. Those are facts. FFS!
Idk. He's apologized since therapy but I'm just over it tonight. I need to be able to say my thoughts and feelings without everything being perceived as a god damn attack.
We slept last night thank goodness. H did the 10:30 wake up and the 5:30 one even though originally I was supposed to do them all. I feel a lot better having gotten some sleep because I wasn't handling the no sleep thing well.

I'm mailing out copies of my grandmother's funeral program to my siblings. None of us were able to attend, but someone mailed me a copy of the program so I made more and am sharing them.
In happier news, we got our taxes filed last night and we have friends coming over this morning.
I've had Nexplanon three times and highly recommend it. It can however make you have random spotting which is a deal breaker for some.
I didn't really have periods when on it but would sometimes have spotting.
I was all excited to ask my OB about nexplanon and when I had my pp appointment she totally dissed it. Apparently she's finding she's getting requests for removal in 70% of the implants she does. She also said the vast majority of women she's put on it have had weight gain. She totally scared me off. :/

ellabee all methods have pros and cons... Some of the pros of Nexplanon are not thinking about contraception for three years and it's the method with the lowest fail rate out there (very close to zero). But there are definitely cons like your doc mentioned. What did you end up getting if you don't mind me asking? I got a copper IUD this time around because I wanted to try something non hormonal.

Nothing yet, but I have an appointment for the Mirena iud in may. I'm not sure if I'm going to go through with it yet though. I'm paranoid about my supply tanking, even though I know it's not supposed to have an impact because the hormone is localized...
How are your periods on the copper iud? (If you've had any yet?) My OB said they could be heavier than normal and mine are super heavy already so that sounded horrible to me.
We are done with having kids so I want something long term while DH prepares to get the snip.

ellabee I heard periods could be heavier and longer on copper. I am going with mirena. I'm slightly worried about the supply-but I'm hoping it doesn't affect me in that way. I also just haven't been on birth control for over 3 years. I wish I didn't need it at all. But another baby is not in the picture right now.
My gf with the copper IUD has horrible cramps on it. But she sucks it up because she can't do hormonal BC. She's miserable for a day or two. She usually calls out of work once a month because of it. But that might just be her experience.
