Y'all. I'm homeless. I've been cheating on you with the world of Facebook. But it's large and intimidating and I feel lonely without my small group? Forgive me please?
Hey Maple2! Are you literally or figuratively homeless?
Life is slow on this board. But my life is crazy busy. I'm in the process of moving my bakery, which appears to be a process of herding ducks and getting my cats in a row, while I try to make sure that my family knows that I still love them.

Hey! Nothing new here except M is out of diapers so I have no more babies. Sadface. Everything else in my life is the same. I'm completely obsessed with politics, it's like a gruesome car accident I can't look away from.
I'm loling at @milano, in her newborn bliss while piccyami, pbandj714, and me cant see straight with our old, non sleeping babies. Granted you guys have 2 each...
Hey maple 2! Life here is busy. A is out of diapers during the day, but otherwise, we're bouncing between preschool and swim lessons and the grocery store. I'm on my way to becoming a dog trainer, which is awesome! I'm going to classes twice a week and leaning a ton.

Dog Training! How cool. Are you hoping to make a FT career of it? I'd be thrilled if I could just get my lab to stop chasing cars, but generally he's a good dog.

Heck yes I peened your post. Twins and moving back to MI? You've got some awesome stuff going on. Where is MI are you hoping to move?
PS I'm really glad you're not ACTUALLY physically homeless.
But wouldn't the story be crazy to hear?
It almost happened 6 weeks ago though! It was not cool. But is a story.
So my FIL has never gotten along with his mother because she was the type that thought it was okay to play favorites with her kids. Well, in 2005, he bought the family farm (2 homes, all thelse outbuildings, 320 acres) from his mom. It was a very open process in which he paid his brothers and his mom money. His mom maintained rights to the property until her death. All kinda weird to me, but basically instant complete ownership upon her death.
And since then DH bought the older original farm house on the property from his dad as well as the land we use for buildings we've put up, like the new barn and workshop, and the cattle pasture. We completely renovated the old house and estimate we've spent 500k in repairs/updates to the farm property.
Well the old lady died. Basically because J gave her the flu. Felt really guilty about that, but we did warn her.
Turns out the witch somehow managed to quick claim deed the property (that everyone knew she didn't own!! We insured it, paid the taxes, etc) over to two of her other grandkids.

We were ticked. Scared. A whole ball of emotions.
But they signed the property back to us.
Whoa. That is pretty damn insane. I'm glad that they were more rational than your GMIL.

They were more rational, but I think in the end we would have won in court anyhow.
