Good morning ladies! I had awful insomnia last night so I didn't fall asleep until around 4:30 this morning. G was up just before 7 so I am very tired. On top of that, AF has been here for a week and a half and I am over it. Can I stop feeling like a gross mess?
W is definitely sick, but I'm not convinced it's actually the flu. I was able to get her to drink some smoothie this morning so that's good. She will only eat popsicles otherwise. She says her throat, back, and nose have boo-boos

I can't imagine how you function on such little sleep. I'm a hot mess on 6.5 hours much less anything less than that!
Years of practice. I have been an insomniac since I was kid. All the women on my moms side are. In college I would go entire weekends with no or little sleep because I could. I was in school full time with a two hour commute and had two part time jobs. I could handle it because I was used to it. It's terrible for my body. I wish I slept like MH. He can fall asleep in about 2 minutes at bedtime.

This kept happening to us sooooo much which is why we started sitting on the potty in the morning. If she didn't go on the potty, she'd soak through everything on the way to DC.
Yeah, if this keeps happening I might rethink my anti-potty training stance! Also glad to know this isn't just a cloth diaper problem.
We are still in the "I want to sit on the potty all the time but will never pee in it" phase. J loves to tell you he has to pee, sit on the potty for 5 mins and then promptly pee as soon as the diaper is back on.
He's obviously just not ready yet so we're not pushing it.
So it appears that a bird has gotten into the vent hole from our master bathroom fan and taken up residence there. I'm trying to get an animal removal company out to take care of it asap.
I am in the living room and I can literally hear it (them?!?!?) tweeting away upstairs.
{Click here to see more.}I was waiting for the electrician to call and naturally he calls while I'm going to the bathroom... and pooping. How awkward. AND to top it off, I was in the school bathroom... with stalls... so I had to answer the phone in the stall while sitting on the toilet.
I'm just hoping no one heard me and if they did, they just pretend they didn't.
Hahaha bwisco123, have done, though not at school. But definitely other public bathrooms.

That's where we are. Sit on the potty, make fake peeing sounds and then flush.
Well, H and I tried to watch Patriots Day (the Boston marathon bombing movie) and didn't even make it half way through before we had to shut it off... wayyyy too close to home, and definitely still too soon for us to watch that. Ugh brought back way too much anxiety for me. So now we're sitting on the couch, both anxious and stress AF watching Friends trying to move on.
You guy have heard my complaints about my MIL's travel planning before. So, once again, she was going to come at the end of the month. Then she waffled about it for weeks and finally told DH she couldn't come because work. He got pissed because she does this all the time and told her her grandkid was growing up without her. And now she's maybe coming again. And I'm just over here like GDI, I went on a shopping spree when she said she couldn't come. If she was going to come I would have waited for her to buy clothes.

Gah. C came up to me tonight saying 'ear owie'. Sure enough all the goop and such is draining from it. So not only did we wrestle her to clean off the nastiness, then we had to put in ear drops.
So fun. At least her tubes are still working!
Poor girl. I hope she feels better quickly and that she sleeps ok for you tonight!
