8. Something you're weirdly good at Tiling. Cutting/laying/grouting tile. Weird, I know, but comes in handy with a H in construction/real estate.
9. If you had so much money that you didn't have to work at all what would you do every day? Crafty stuff. Baking. Upholstery. Woodworking. I love making stuff with my hands. Or scuba diving.
10. Where would you live if you weren't living in your current city? Probably another city like Boston. San Fran. Portland, ME maybe.

College orientation. He helped me pick my classes.

I have a front porch, a side covered porch, and a deck. It's great for entertaining in the summertime.

City definitely. I was born and raised in New York and have lived in Boston and downtown Chicago. Even the suburbs seem too quiet for me sometimes.

I have a pair of solid gold earrings that have been in my family for over 100 years. They're beautiful and I hope to pass them down for another hundred years.

Favorite: E's smiles

I thought it would take me a while to conceive, so I ordered a 50 pack of pregnancy tests off Amazon. When they arrived in the mail I figured I'd test one out and it was positive. I was only 10 DPO.

Doing make up. I'm really good at it.
9. If you had so much money that you didn't have to work at all what would you do every day?
For now I would be a stay at home mom... but if I were super rich I would also start my own nonprofit for at risk youth.

Probably New York City... it would be going home for me. Or Washington DC. I think I could be happy there.

1. How'd you meet your H? A mutual friend brought me to a party at his apartment the first day of our sophomore year.
2. What's your favorite thing about your home? It's location. We can walk to restaurants, shopping, historical sites and amazing beaches all in minutes. Plus I can see the harbor from our second floor!

7. How did you find out you were pregnant? First time I took the test then jumped in the shower while I waited. We had been trying for 15 months and I flipped when I got out of the shower. With P we have been trying one month and DH was out diving and I took a test never thinking it would be positive so quickly. I was equally shocked to get a positive both times.
8. Something you're weirdly good at? Hmm. I am very good at organizing closets.
9. If you had so much money that you didn't have to work at all what would you do every day? I would volunteer, take Pilates and go to the beach.

1. We had mutual friends through college but never met until after college. He came back from basic training and I came back to visit for a friends birthday and met at the party. He thought I was a bitch, I thought he was a douche and the rest is history.
2. The size. Our last house was a cute 2 bedroom, but I feel like I can breath here.
3. Country. Hands down.
4. My wedding rings. I've jumped in a full dumpster and ripped apart garbage bags when I lost my engagement ring at work.
5. 2 dogs; a pyrenees and a border collie, 2 cats and a fish. My cats are fosters we kept. I want to get back to fostering too.
6. The actual heart bursting love. Vs. The judgment from others and myself against my choices.
7. We were 2AD and I was on BC that made AF run like clockwork. Then when I was a week late an nauseous I POAS and took 5 days to adjust to the idea of a 3rd kid before I told DH.
8. Animal restraint. Sounds creepy but I was a Vet Tech before a SAHM. I even use my kitty burrito technique to cut baby nails.
9. Fortunately with DH's job and major budgeting I do stay home all day. If I had tons of money though I would have a rescue farm for unwanted animals.
10. I like where we are but I'd find a home out of the city. That or move back to my home province but again, in the country. Both places have beautiful mountains which I love. The bonus of this place is the ocean, the bonus of the other is my family.

1. How'd you meet your H? He and I were both on athletic teams at our university. We started dating after he graduated. I was a junior but I'm year 3 of 5. So we did distance for a few years.
2. What's your favorite thing about your home? I love the layout; and how much space we have inside and out. We also have a beautiful deck and pool.
3. Would you rather live in the city or country? Country. I don't like living on top of people. Our house before this current one we were the only house down a dirt road. Loved the seclusion. We needed something bigger and moved to a nice neighborhood.
4. Most treasured possession? I think my engagement and wedding rings. There's nothing material I couldn't live without.
5. Do you have pets? Yes two pit bulls. A red and a blue. Both rescued in first 8 weeks of life.
6. Favorite/least favorite part of being a mother? Learning who my daughters are. Learning their personalities. Watching how they interpret the world.
7. How did you find out you were pregnant? I had RLP and was like...that's odd. It was two months after an early loss. So I wasn't expecting it. But POAS and +.
8. Something you're weirdly good at. I'm very organized and have an awesome memory. I'm also awesome at starting IVs on patients who are the hardest sticks. (Not to toot my own horn or anything).
9. If you had so much money that you didn't have to work at all what would you do every day? Really learn to cook and bake; workout and do yoga every day. I would also start a tinkergarden here.
10. Where would you live if you weren't living in your current city? I would move closer to my parents in CT.

7. POAS on the day AF was due both times. First time I was shocked because it was our first month trying. I kept texting DH pics of the sticks and asking if he could see a line, and he was like yes, that's very clearly a line. Second time we had been trying for almost a year so I wasn't surprised but really overjoyed.

With DS1 - I just felt off and my boobs were killing me so I took a test. It was 3 days before my missed period. When I told my H I had to wake him up because he was hungover from the night before and all he said was "I'll believe it with a digital" and went back to sleep...so that was a special moment...
With DS2 - my period was late and I ran up to the store during work and took a test in the bathroom stall.

Stay home and take care of the kids.

1. Homeroom in high school, first day of freshman year (we have not been together since HS, though).

8. Something you're weirdly good at. Picking things up with my toes. It was even more useful when I was pregnant and getting to the floor was hard.
9. If you had so much money that you didn't have to work at all what would you do every day? I would not do the same thing every day, but I'd have a selection of things I'd do across a week or month. Have coffee with MH, go to the gym, cook, practice jujutsu, read, build websites and write articles for stuff MH and I want to communicate to other people, browse the real estate market, practice photography, take classes or find apprenticeships to learn new skills. I'd also like to travel for special occasions and events, but mostly stay at home.
10. Where would you live if you weren't living in your current city? I don't like where I live. MH and I plan to move to Wisconsin in a year or so to be closer to family. If that weren't a factor, We'd probably look at Colorado or Virginia.
