Pumping schedule at work

Hi ladies! I'm going back to work on March 2nd and I'm scheduling out my pumping sessions. I used to roll in to work at 9-ish but now that I'm a mommy with more responsibility, and a desire to get home earlier in the evenings, I'm planning on getting to work around 8-ish. Assuming I nurse my LO before I leave (from 7-7:30), I'm planning to pump at:

10am
12:30pm
3pm

And planning to leave work by 4:30 so I can be home by 5:15-5:30 (SoCal traffic sucks!) and nurse my LO again. For those of you with experience, does this seem like a good plan? Input appreciated! :-)

That is almost exactly the schedule I had when I went back to work after DD, and what I plan to do when I go back in a month. Only difference was I had a longer commute so our nursing session was a bit earlier, like 6:30, so my first pump was at 9.

Make sure you protect that time, block out your schedule to protect it, otherwise it is easy for you/others to impinge on it!

my work schedule was later (10 AM-6 PM), but i generally pumped at around 11:30, 1:30, and 3:30. i nursed DS right before i left the house (around 9 AM), and again as soon as i got home (6:30-7 PM).

I feel you on the commute/traffic. I would have so much anxiety driving home those first few months because I'd be so afraid of DD needing another bottle instead of being able to hold off for me. As your LO gets older, it will get easier.

That's what I did but all a little earlier.
Nursed at 530. At work by 7am.
Pump at 830 11 2pm
Home by 4. Nursed again on demand.

i work 6-2:30 and i nurse at about 4:30am, pump at 7:30, (i recently dropped a 10:30), and a 1:30, and i am back to my kids about 3:30-4.

This is very similar to what I do. I pump at 10, 1 and 4.

I head back to work the same day so thank you for posting. I was thinking about doing my first pump a little earlier when my supply is higher.

Sounds like a perfect schedule to me! When I went back to work, I worked 9-5:30/6 and pumped at 10, 1, and 4. I nursed before leaving her around 8-8:30 and then when I got home (I work very close to home). I was always flexible with my pumping times, because that worked for me, and was able to cut back to twice a day fairly early due to a good supply. You will find what works for you!
