We have cleaners coming today to do the deep cleaning. They will deep clean all my bathrooms and kitchen, do the floors, and all interior windows. I'm so excited not to have to do it and so nervous that I have to be here the whole time with LO. Hopefully we have a good day and she cooperates.
H is working tomorrow so that should be fun. I have a two hour hair appointment that I have to bring LO to. Great!

Also, I know this is suuuuuper random, but I've completed my closet purge. Among the nice things I will be donating are three very gently used dresses. Does anyone want them? I can send them to you.
Both are size 12 except the pink that's size 8. I've literally worn them 1-2 times each.
loves2shop4shoes yay for good sleep and for feeling good today. I love the dresses but not my size. I need to do my closet too. I am going to clump it into my spring cleaning. Womp womp.
We got decent sleep. 4, 3, 2, 2 hour stretches. She's still congested; but looks fine otherwise.
I am heading to the gym shortly. I gotta call and try to reschedule Rs 2 month appointment. It's for next Friday at 2:30. I do not want to sit in traffic my entire drive home. Other than that- not much on my plate here. I think we have another dreary day here, but right now it's so sunny. Such a tease.
Oh that's rough. I think watching E get shots was more painful for me than it was for her. I cried.
Hugs.
I will absolutely cry.
It does get easier. I mean, I don't like seeing my big kid get shots either, but I can at least explain it to him and he knows it only lasts a second and then he gets a donut. There's no way to explain to a newborn why she's suddenly being hurt.

H and I stayed up really late last night talking. It was one of those painful conversations that's hard, but good, and is going to take a bit to process. Then, E was up a lot. So I'm running on like 4 hours of sleep.
My goal is to wear out the toddler and pray for a nap for all of us later.
Semi decent night from the babes! Miss O was my nice baby for sure. Lil G is more needy at night but my happy chill baby during the day. DH may still die today....I have my cousins wedding shower tomorrow and I may take all 3 kiddos and tell the man so sleep then he can't complain for the rest of the day.

I swear this baby would only have one wake up if he could get over these damn coughing fits. He just gets so upset. He doesn't want to eat he just wants to quit coughing. The pedi told us the coughing could last up to six weeks. No thank you! I'm want to go by a baby boutique to find DS2 an Easter outfit. I didn't realize the one MIL got him was a 3-6 month. I tried it on him, it's just way to big. Other than that I have a few work things to do and hopefully it will be an easy day with the toddler.
staz I really want to get cleaners for when I go back to work. I'm really affected by mess but I think cleaning will be a low priority in those first few months. How does one go about finding a cleaning service?
My grandma is coming to meet DS today. Excited to see her! He slept from 930-6 and 630-830 last night so I'm hoping that he is nice and chipper for her when she gets here. Also day 3 of potty training. It's going really well but I just can't get over how mentally and physically exhausting it is to be constantly watching and running to the potty.

pivot, potty training is something I should have done months ago. I'm dreading it and so scared. DS1 will proclaim "No, I want to pee in a diaper!" each time I mention the potty...

Honestly I found these people on Amazon. If they do a good job I'll hire them again. We're going to add cleaners to the budget because I won't be able to keep up with the cleaning when I go back to work. Also, we're hosting Easter, and a bridal shower at my house all in the next month, and then a LLR party, so it will be nice to have a good solid base that I just have to keep up with over the next month or so.
You can also check out Care.com, a local FB group, or Angies List.

pivot are you using a specific method for potty training? DS1 will pee in the potty before his bath, but won't any other time and he sure as hell won't poop in it but will announce to us that he is pooping. I'm considering the put him in underwear method, but I don't want it to make him feel ashamed about it. I'm super conflicted, but he's also 26 months and I think he should be moving towards potty training.
We are going to do some work outside on the patio today to get it ready for easter. I am going to go get some mulch and hanging flowers and DH is going to clean out the raised beds.
I want to buy a new larger patio table that seats 6. Everything I am seeing that I like is so $$$. Annoying!

Have you checked craigslist or another source of used furniture?
wildflower810musicallyinclined DD is 2.5 and I wish I had started before LO got here but I suppose while I'm on maternity leave is as good a time as any.
I got the Oh Crap Potty Training book that linewifekat recommended. Essentially it's 4-7 days completely naked and watching them like a hawk. Then a month with clothes no underwear or diaper until they get the hang of that then you add in the underwear. I highly recommend the book though because she goes over specific phrases to use and behaviors so your LO feels confident even if they have an accident. DD has done really well so far. 3 accidents the first day, 2 small accidents yesterday (she was basically telling me as she was going) and so far no accidents today. She's been telling me when she's had to go pee and poop the past two days. We're still doing diapers for nap and bedtime. We'll cross that bridge once she gets the daytime mastered. There's also a chapter on poop and other daycare providers in there too. Good luck whenever you do decide! I had to get my mind right before doing it. I am sure she could've been potty trained months ago if I had put in the effort.

Home from the gym. R is napping in her crib, I'm pumping and DH is taking K to work before her nap so I will have some peace in this house. I'm going to tackle my closet! Major purge. I just bought two dresses on lulus, some shirts and workout pants from old navy. Im going to set some clothes aside for my younger sisters, and a friends daughters at work. And the rest are going to good will or Salvation Army.

I should check craigslist! I found one I like at Home Depot when I was just there but it goes with nothing else we have. We would need a new rug and decor if I got it. But it's pretty. Lol.

When do you need the furniture? You can ask stores when they are selling off their floor samples and buy them. I got our full Crate and Barrel set this way, but you have to wait until at least July.

We are in the middle of potty training also. DD1 has gone twice successfully, but is now back to sitting on the potty and then peeing when she gets her diaper back on. I keep telling H that we need to do naked training on the days she's at home, but he doesn't want her to pee on anything. Seriously?! When we got our dog a few years ago he was so willing to clean up multiple accidents a day while we were house training the DOG. Now he's not willing to have a couple of accidents with our own child?? We'll see. Maybe I will just do it myself while he's at work.

Yesterday after the midwife appointment I swung by the dollarstore because I was free and DS was asleep so why not enjoy silence. I bought more for the Easter baskets so their little baskets are now big baskets...that include hula hoops for the girls. Oops. All I needed was bubbles....I bought a 4L jug. Damn you dollarama.
Today is raining again so the girls want to go to playgroup. Then I need to shower at some point because tonight is FILs birthday dinner. Definitely need a shower. Also I think AF may have started?? 0 cramping but my bleeding picked up again. WTF, the child is on my boobs more than off them (probably).

The boys and I are heading to my parent's this weekend. We are either leaving this afternoon or tomorrow late morning- depending on if C's soccer is cancelled tomorrow (it was last week due to wet fields, and I'm anticipating that happening again). It will be R's first road trip , a little over 2 hours. Hoping and assuming he'll sleep the whole time.
I'm excited, I haven't been home since Christmas. This is the longest I've gone without going home since we moved here almost 8 years ago.

staz definitely jealous of the deep cleaning! I want to have someone come in, but DH does our cleaning (I'm lucky I know) and gets offended when I suggest it. loves2shop4shoes glad you guys made up and had a good night! flyinghorses6 hope the congestion clears up. Enjoy your quiet time too! wildflower810 sorry for the tough convo. @jacks605 taking 3 kids to a shower, you're brave! musicallyinclined hope the cough clears up soon! allisong87 hope everyone gets better soon! pivot that's some awesome sleep, I'm jealous! Have a nice visit with your grandma. @preppy ugh speaking of outdoor work I desperately need to weed. It's too windy to have Z outside with me while I do it today, though, hopefully sometime this weekend.
Nothing much on the agenda for today, hopefully the gym this afternoon. We had an ok night. Z was down from 10-2, but was screaming and wouldn't let me put her down from 2-3 so I finally gave up and she slept on me until we got up at about 5:30.
I had to spend 40 minutes on the phone with the insurance company this morning because it they processed Z's pediatrician visits as specialty instead of primary care resulting in me getting bills for the higher copay. I'm not sure why it took so long to fix the problem, but at least it's fixed.

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.R had a great night of sleep, I got a couple of hours then had to get up early for R's PT session.
Get out of PT to see my Facebook messenger exploded with a group chat between my sis, mom, and aunt that I send pictures of R to. My sis proceeded to tell my mom I look sickly and R is underfed since he has skinny arms and legs and I need a new ped. since is not being taken care of properly. WTF!!! I am livid.
dancerspose sorry for the rough night and the insurance so annoying
Not much going on here. Terrible weather so we have been stuck inside. H has been working like crazy so we haven't seen much of each other lately. LO is doing well, really enjoying seeing how much he changes each day. So much fun
