Just started a formula allergy question thread... I'd post on my N16 but I've basically ghosted on that board, and know we have some experts over here.
So before bed, Colin and I were playing chase around the downstairs. Chase was playing in the living room and DH was in the family room, so Col and I kept running by to check on him. We were literally in the doorway when he knocked the fireplace screen on top of himself. I don't think it really hurt him, just scared him.
Fast forward 5 minutes and he's standing by the tub as it fills up. I lean over to grab the bubble bath and he flips himself face first into the tub. Now I've seen him almost do it a few times before, so I am so upset with myself. I calmed him down, kept Colin from getting scared, and got DH off my back, but he flipped out when I finally put him in the tub. Poor guy! When it was finally time for him to nurse, I finally was able to cry in peace without worrying about upsetting anyone else.
Does anyone have a good exercise list for diastasis recti? I'm starting to think this is a contributor to my belly and I've been doing all the wrong things.
J overheard me tell a teacher have a good weekend and he goes "it's the weekend?? We get to stay home?!! We get to watch shows?!" And all the teachers were like I feel ya kid.
Hate to break it to him that someday he will be clocking 40 hours of work and not 40 hours of play based preschool. I guess the saying that play is kids work has some truth to it. And I'm raising an introvert.
Hi! Just popping in after a busy day. N did so great at her recital. I'm one proud momma! Dh and I are just now scarfing a frozen pizza for dinner and then I need to work on bday party stuff.
Has anyone ever used the Merlin sleep suit in the rock n play? H has a cold and I know he'd sleep better in it than the crib.
Could you put some towels or a pillow or something under the mattress of the crib? I would think it would be hard for him to get comfy in the rock n play.

I can try it. I just never felt like I did it right with Mara.

So yeah, the weekend is off to a great start...
This happened to Sam when he was about the same age.
