Guise...I got back to work on the 21st so am in need of highlights and a cut. Unsure which style I wanna go with. Want lower maintenance since I'll have a 3 yr old and twins to get out of the house.
I'm leaning towards option 3. I can leave messy and have it look on purpose or put up easily too.
I'm liking 2 & 3! I'm worried with three though that some of the really short layers may need extra styling? Maybe not. My hair is all one length so I have no idea if that's true.
I'm also going this month for a hair refresh. Adding layers and balayge. Hope it turns out the way you want!!

I think with stick straight hair, #1 will look best.
Tell me of this balayage?? Is it more/less expensive than traditonal highlights? I need to start coloring my hair again. I'm very cheap so I usually just do box color myself, but I'm considering going to a stylist and having it done for real. Which I haven't done in lots of years.
ETA: the reason I think #1 is that your hair probably won't show the texture that you see in 2&3 if it's really straight.

Looks like our answers are all over the map. You can't go wrong with any option. They are all very nice. 2 is my vote. It seems like a happy medium between 1 & 3.

Why hello, stunner!
I'd go option 2. If your hair is stick straight, the layers in 2 will give it some body. Plus, that's a low maintenance cut (I've had it and loved it).

monicageller - balayage can get pricy. When I got mine done it was almost $200 but I can go much much longer without getting it done again. They basically paint the highlights on to your hair. This is the picture I used when telling them what I wanted so you have an idea of how it looks.
