ashiscute, tell him no. Tell him to download s-town
PS. Have a great time!!!
He's listening to s-town and really likes it!
But anyway he told me he also got one about British history and as I am Anglophile and love history I said okay. We get in the car and it starts "this covers the years 70,000 BC to 1 BC". What world is this?!?!
cornpop311 I don't blame you. Once on the D.C. Metro I saw a couple giving McDonalds fries to their baby (who was probably 4-5 months max). I almost told on them for eating on the train so they'd get the food taken away. A kid will have his/her whole life to eat fries- you should at least start them off right!

Have had a mostly lovely day just me and the kids. Grocery shopped which is normally hellacious with kids in tow, followed by a quick stop at the cemetery. Cabela's was giving away free fishing rods for the kids so I took them over there. They love looking at the fish tanks anyway. Quick lunch out followed by nap time for the two youngest. After nap we dyed Easter eggs with koolaid. So much easier and cheaper than the egg kits and they smell pretty good too. I then decided to take kids/dog to playground/dog park since it was so nice out. 3 kids + 1 dog + muddy dog park = 10 filthy little legs and a dirty car. That was not my brightest idea but at least they all had fun. I'm probably making breakfast for dinner because I'm lazy and then I'm hoping for an earlyish bedtime.
DH cleaned our backyard up, mowed bath yards, and trimmed the trees. Meanwhile I cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, the living room, DS1's room, and did 3 loads of laundry. As soon as I finished cutting up fruit for the week, DS1 decided to throw up on the living room rug. DH is hell bent that it's the pink lemonade that wasn't refrigerated overnight that DS1 drank this morning. I suggested it could be a stomach bug. DH insists he's correct. I really hope he is.
mrsbeachcat @traceyos I had a thread about an almost 2 year old forward facing in a booster seat. So I talked to the grandma (who at the time was living there and a main caretaker, she was also the one that posted the picture of her in it). I told her that I wanted to talk to her about something serious and it was coming from a place of concern. I told her E was too little for the booster seat and needed to meet the height and weight requirements to be safe. I reminded her how crazy drivers in Dallas are and I would be horrified if something happened to E. E met the weight, but not height requirements for it. So that is what my friend was only looking at. Next photo I saw she was in a 5-point harness car seat, still forward facing though. TX laws say after 1 year they can forward face and recommend earliest switching to booster seat at 3 years. We are still rear facing though.
Today was great. Weather was great. I got to Walmart early and got what I needed and there were no crowds. My mom came over and folded while I took a quick nap. She never offers to help, so I am so happy. We went to a birthday party that had a great little musical act and the kids had a lot of fun. We played for a bit with other neighborhood kids and now I am hiding out in Starbucks and actually getting assignments done. This is all just busy work, but getting things submitted at least is giving e more confidence that I will actually graduate in May. 6-7 more weeks!!
What a gorgeous weekend here. We spent so much time outside! My freckles are back!!!! A and both dogs are passed out. I'm impatiently waiting on H who went out almost 2 hours ago for a quick ride and to get me ice cream. I called him almost an hour ago and he had stopped at a friends house...dude bring the pregnant woman her ice cream!!!
I noticed the same thing last week, and thankfully he seems to be back to normal. I have no idea if it was teeth or just a bad week but now that I'm up with Louis all the time I'm noticing that Henry doesn't really sleep through the night like I thought! I'm up with the baby now and I can hear him in there playing with his aquarium.
