This is the weekend!

I'd like to go to a craft show this morning. I need to go for a run at some point today, didn't go yesterday since it was raining. Lots of cleaning and tackling the home project to do list.

We are also going to an egg hunt today as long as N behaves. This morning was not great in terms of listening. He and MH are at swimming now, and G and I are hanging out at home. I signed G up for parent/child swim classes starting next month, and MH told me the teacher (who had N in her classes before) said she is so excited to have G in the class.

After the egg hunt, I have Easter errands to run. The weather is beautiful today, but I wish it was a little bit warmer. I'll take the sun though.

I just got home from my eyelash extension fill in...I really do not enjoy the process. I will probably only keep this up through when DH gets out for the summer. It saves me so much time getting ready but I will need a break by then.

IL's are taking the boys this afternoon thru tomorrow afternoon so it will just be me, DH and the baby. We are going to go out to eat tonight and pretend it's a date even though DD will be there.

We did some yard work this am. It was nice to get out and be physical. Dropped my car off for some work, returned some duplicate birthday presents. I've got just some random stuff I wanna get done this weekend. No real plans which I'm happy about.

smallpotato I'm gonna sign up dd2 for swim lessons too! I did it with dd1 and dd1 has preschool the day they do lessons so it will be nice to have something for just dd2 and me.

We hit up a local church's Easter celebration. We're not religious and luckily, only one person approached us about a "home church". DD was able to participate in an eater egg hunt, feed some animals, and enjoy the bounce houses. I really appreciate them opening up that to the community. DD is still afraid of the Easter bunny. She's currently napping and DS is sort of whining in his pack n play.

Washing the car, going for a run and other errands this afternoon.

DS2 is being extra difficult today. He's exhausted but refuses to nap. I have him in his crib doing check-ins, hoping he falls asleep before the 30 minute limit is up. I need a break and i need to get stuff done, but an failing miserably.

We were gonna go to an Easter egg hunt also but it was at 1pm and DD1 was melting down. Instead she's having quiet time while we work around the house.

It's gorgeous here too. I started the day with yoga class and tonight I have trivia with my mom's group. Good day overall.

C woke up for the day absolutely soaked in spitup. Not sure if that happened after she ate at 5am or right when she woke up. If it was at 5 I'm amazed she went back to sleep. #1 would not have. She'd have screamed bloody murder and probably been up for the day. I love my easier baby.

Went to a birthday party down the street. They had a petting zoo with a pig and goats and a pony to ride. Pretty fun. Now I'm just waiting to feed C who is napping and the toddler is in her room for quiet time. Then we can hit Costco and go grocery shopping. No plans for tomorrow so far except a tentative play date with a neighbor.

ILs had an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids this morning. Birthday party for our godchild this afternoon. DS1 is going without a nap today, but at 3:30, DD is finally going down for a nap. We'll keep it to an hour or so. DS2 is his usual laid back self and has done great with all the commotion.

We had a busy day yesterday. MH took DS for a haircut then we went to my BILs for his horseshoe pit opening day tournament. Had it not been so windy, it would have been so nice out. DS had a blast playing with his cousins though.
After we went to my ILs to pick up our taxes my FIL did. It was a nice visit. We don't see them as much as my parents since they are farther away, so it's always nice when the kids get to spend time with them.
Today we are making a trip to IKEA, have an Easter egg hunt with my parents since they will be away for Easter, and maybe taking a walk around Castle Island to check out the planes. DS would this that is so cool.

DS2 was up three times. Not sure if it's the cold, teeth, or growth spurt? I do know one thing--it's annoying and makes me sleepy.

Hey ladies! It's so beautiful out. DH Is finally going to take the Christmas light down today. He really has no choice because the house painter is coming tomorrow to powerwash and start prepping the house. He always waits until April to take them down because when it's too cold out, the wires are all stiff and hard to wind up on the coil things we store them in (and they break more easily).

DS has such a bad cold; he was so congested last night that he was up for half the night. DH was up with him from like 1am on. He tried rocking him for oven hour, and then just brought him downstairs to sleep in the recliner at like 2:30 because he had an easier time breathing sitting up a bit. He has such a great disposition, though, that he still manages to be happy, even when he's not feeling good. I went out and bought some of those Vick's Vapopads to plug in tonight, so hopefully they help. I have friends that swear by them, so we'll see. We have a cool mist vaporizer in his room, but it doesn't seem to help.

Hi!

I survived a trip to the grocery store with both boys in tow. MH is working today and we had no food, so we needed to go. We had kind of a rough night. N woke up at 3:30 and fell asleep in our bed at 5. G woke up at 4:30 crying because he was hungry. N woke up for the day at 6:30, and G woke up an hour later. It's beautiful out today, so we will definitely spend some time outside later.

So nice out! We did more yard work, picked up my car, and I just snuck to target. Showers, naps, and I think we're walking downtown later.
I slept in the guestroom last night and got a solid 1030-630 sleep. Dd2 was up 3 times. I just don't know anymore. Holding out until her 6 month appt and seeing what the ped says.

We went to church and then brunch, I got to take a small nap, and I am about to take DD with me to Target while DH has baseball practice and goes to pick up the boys. Not ready for Monday at all.

Was supposed to have a play date today but no response when I texted the mom so I guess that's not happening. Oh well. Off to shop for me and the baby H and the toddler are off wandering the greenway. It's a beautiful 80 degrees today. I've really enjoyed this weekend. It's too bad it will be over so soon

Oh have to share this exciting news! Went to trivia last night (which I suck at) and I won the raffle for a free loaf of bread from Panera every week for a year. I'm so excited, and the Panera is right by our house. They better believe I'm getting my 52 loaves.

@kitchen don't know if this is feasible in your area but have you looked into if any daycare centers would take kids just for drop-in days? I know ours has a few kids that only come every once in a while - they just have to call and see if that room is full for the day before they can bring them. Might be a back up for the nanny.

I miss their wheat baguettes. Those were my favorite.
