I have my ultrasound on 30 minutes and my husband is cooking eggs in his boxers. Duuuuuuuude.

I found the baby's heart beat about 10 minutes ago ❤️
The sweetest sound in the world. Makes me so excited to them in 15 days!!

I actually found it pretty quickly, it just popped out of nowhere, and I froze my hand and it got stronger in the doppler. Deffo baby's heartbeat as I remember the difference from my doppler with DS. Was so fast

I recorded about 1 minutes worth to show DH when he gets home from work, but for now it's time to nap with a massive smile on my face 😊

I was getting crazy blood pressure readings over the weekend. I ended up with 3 different monitors and two were giving me low readings and one was giving me super high readings, even after I took meds. I called my PCP this morning thinking I would have to wait like a week to get in, but they gave me the last appointment of the day, so I don't even have to miss much work. I guess they take blood pressure seriously? Still... wish I was getting an ultrasound instead!

beefinch congrats on getting the hb. That's so cool.

We're up getting ready for the day. DS has his speech therapy this am and we're having the nanny take him this time. Fx that goes well but we think it's good for her to get familiar with the tips and techniques they're teaching too. Other than that, just a boring Monday. I'm possibly feeling a little queasy so I guess that's a good sign? Still a week out from my first OB appointment. Sigh.

Hi! Just one little bean, but all is well! Measuring exactly on track at 8w2d heartbeat of 160! I have a small SCH that they said should resolve itself in a few weeks and likely without bleeding on my end since it's so small. I go back May 1 to check the SCH, pap, blood work, and genetic screening. They're offering panorama now which is nice. They only offered quad screen last time, though I got harmony for being high risk. Anyways, my anxiety is much better!

Work is already pissing me off and I haven't even gotten there yet. I really struggle with people who feign incompetence and expect me to do whatever they feel like they aren't able.

@iheartmyshiba do whatever you are comfortable with doing. I was eating lunch on Charles street with my mom when it happened but i didn't see what actually happened till we got home. It will forever be a day of anxiety for sure but I think they are really taking security more seriously after that.

Hi everyone!! Had a restful weekend which was good but almost hard. We are always on the go so it was weird. I haven't been feeling great. I haven't been getting sick but keep getting a really bad stomach ache after I eat. Def didn't have that with DD. But I'm good news today is "dip day" at work! They look and smell amazing, a pregnant lady's dream day at work. Can't wait for lunch!

Started cereal with DD this morning (she turns 6 months tomorrow). It went well. DS is being a toddler this morning and testing my patience. This is my last full week at home. I go back to work next Wednesday.

The guy across the hall from me has his music turned up louder than usual this morning so I can hear it clearly in my office. Usually I like his music but it seems to be oldies this am and I'm in no mood for lynnerd skynnerd (sp?).

they were all very minor, like putting a doc in the wrong file and putting something on the wrong atty's calendar, stupid stuff like that, but it was like a domino effect this morning, once one thing was discovered, several others followed suit. Just annoying and more pissed at myself for making the errors than anything else.

I still can't believe there are people who will just ask if you are pregnant. That's so crazy to me. STFU nosy coworkers.

Don't knock the radish sandwich. Well ok, I don't know about the sandwich aspect, but good bread + good butter + radish + sea salt is pretty fabulous.

theloveparade, pootsen, I looked it up and it looks pretty good actually. There's one recipe when you mix the radish with cream cheese ... looks similar to a cucumber sandwich.

I made the unfortunate discovery of Stacy's pita chips on one of the interns' desks. I may have had a few. She always shares and I will get her a new bag (in addition to a bag for myself lol). So delicious.
