1. How did last week go? Ok, I didn't do my Jillian Michaels DVD workout as much as I would have liked thanks to R. But I was able to go on long walks the days I couldn't do my DVD.
2. Goals for this week? Do my Jillian Michaels workout 3-4 times and a few long walks ( the weather should be nice most of the week).
3. Food thoughts (recipes, grocery shopping, etc.) well, at the grocery store today I bought two different types of ice cream. 😳 Food is definitely my weakness.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts: see above! Wtf self! Gave some self control!!
5. GTKY. Favorite place to buy workout clothes. I like Ols Navy's shorts and leggings/tops I will get from ON as well or TJ Max or Marshall's. I can usually find Nike tops there for cheap.

flyinghorses6 oh you're good, so motivating! When did you start running? Mentally I feel ready but nervous I'm not healed enough yet. Did you start at 6w or just start walking for the first bit?

I started the program at 3w pp and did 3w of walking. So once I was cleared at my 6w appointment I started running. I'm doing a lot more interval running v long jogs. So basically walk for a few minutes, run for a few minutes. Its easy to do on a treadmill since weather has sucked but its going well. I was sore the first few days through my abs and low under my belly button. But now I feel pretty good. I mean as good as anybody when they're running....
Figured I'd share my recipe from lunch because it was seriously delish! I grilled the squash, zucchini, asparagus and onion last night and found beet noodles at Wegmans! I sautéed the noodles in a pan with the grapeseed oil and one clove of smashed garlic for about 7-10 until they got tender. Then added the veggies and some balsamic and sautéed for another 3 minutes and finished with fresh basil at the end. So so good for being only veggies!!
ETA: ingredient list and nutrition info. The fat is from the grapeseed oil so healthy fat.
