How old is baby? 10.75 months

How often are you nursing? Solids? During the day still around 5-6, but she's seriously cut down on nursing at night. Last night was only 2 times. It makes helping her back to sleep when she cries a lot harder. Solids 3 times a day plus snacks, but the last few days she hasn't eaten much. Not sure why.

How are nights? Rough. The last three nights she won't sleep unless I'm holding her. I'm so tired.

How is pumping/nursing going? Pretty well.

GTKY: What's your favorite springtime activity? Definitely picnics. So much fun. I just bought a new, bigger, picnic blanket. The one I have now is pretty tiny.

DD is over 11.5 months! I only check in one more time after this. 😭😭

We are solidly nursing 4x a day this week. Solids are 3 meals and 2 snacks usually.

Nursing is going great. I am loving this stage so much. I think I have decided to venture in to extended nursing at least for a while.

GTKY: going on walks outside! The weather is amazing.

How old is baby? 7 months this Thursday

How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing 3-4 on days we're apart, 6-8 on days I'm with him all day. Had started giving him bites here or there, but we're just now starting to work in solids daily. He's getting about 2-4oz a day right now.

How are nights? He either STTN or wakes up 2+ times. If he wakes up between when I put him to bed and midnight, I try to get him back to sleep without nursing. After midnight we'll cosleep and I nurse him back to sleep. Unfortunately when I do that he generally wakes up at least 1 more time, but it's better than me having to sit awake and nurse him MOTN.

How is pumping/nursing going? Good. I got really sore really quickly last Wednesday and assumed it was a clog. Finally got home to my pump after dinner at my parents' house and after only a minute and a half I felt like I was being deflated and expressed 2oz in 2 minutes. No wonder I was hurting.

Q/rants/cute stories: My mom watches DS on Fridays. This past Friday she went through 18oz. Of which 10oz were in less than an hour. Her reasoning "I wanted to give him 2 more but didn't have another 2oz bottle and didn't think to pour half of a 4oz out so I gave him that and he wouldn't let me take it away." He does not need 10oz in an hour!!! I was nice about it and just pointed out that was too much at one time, but I was pissed. Typically he drinks 12-14oz during this time period and I nursed him right before we separated for the day so 18oz is crazy.

GTKY: What's your favorite springtime activity? Sitting outside in the nice weather or going for a walk around the neighborhood.

How often are you nursing? Every 3 hours or so awake and once or twice through the night. Solids? Two or three small meals a day.

How are nights? teething is rough, so it varies night to night.

How is pumping/nursing going? nursing is great. I'm a very infrequent pumper.

Q/rants/cute stories: I have a rant. I've been spotting randomly for three months but I'm still not sure it's my period. I live every day like it's the day my period is starting. This sucks.

GTKY: What's your favorite springtime activity? Gardening or being out in the garden moreso than the actual acts. I do love having my garden put in and tidy and ready to go.

GTKY: What's your favorite springtime activity? Gardening or being out in the garden moreso than the actual acts. I do love having my garden put in and tidy and ready to go.

My period started at 10 months PP and showed up with a vengeance. Heaviest and worst period I have ever had. It stopped after 7 days and I had a break for 3 weeks then proceeded to spot for 23 days. I was totally freaked out and kept waiting for it to truly start. It sucked so bad. No advice but I'm sorry. I can't imagine dealing with that for 3 months. 😢

Thanks, westiemom. It's been coming and going for three months. I should have been more clear. I'll be fine and blood free for a week or so, spot for a few hours, or a few days and then it disappears. This week I spotted lightly for three days and had one day of medium period-like flow and then nothing. So weird.

With my first baby I had nothing until I had one tremendous and awful period.

Ugh. The unknown would drive me crazy! Sorry you are dealing with that.
