Experience with self weaning?

Hi friends!

I think we may be starting our slow journey toward the end. DD is 16.5 months old and she's not really nursing to sleep at night, asking to go to bed when she's done and sleep training /night weaning is done. We're still nursing about 3x a day but not for long. Did you notice your LO was suddenly distraught when you would leave or way more snuggly? Anecdotes appreciated and welcome!

My first self weaned for all but that before bed session, but I don't understand the question. Are you asking if he was more snuggly in general? Or just before bed?

That seems prime time for WW10, which could include those behaviors.

I believe DD did the same around that age, and we didn't fully wean until 22-23 months.

I am at that age and s2 is way more clingy but it is definitely ww10 rather than weaning.
