I love all the new threads even when they don't apply to me!
My inlaws came over and watched the munchkins so I could go out. I found a nursing tank at motherhood maternity and some short sleeve tops at Target but had no luck with shorts or a breast feeding friendly dress. The dress isn't a necessity but would be nice. I have sil's baby shower, a Bat Mitzvah, and a wedding coming up. I can dress down for the shower and have a dress I can wear for the other two and just bring bottles.
The weather is gorgeous! Ds smells like warm toddler sunshine (is that weird?), sunscreen, and strawberries. I wish I could bottle it up or just hug him forever.
Well, I was thinking L was going through some kind of crazy nursing strike, but today it's all he wants to do. And sleep. And whine. Babies be fickle, man. I'm thinking probably growth spurt.
lakegirl I found some bf friendly dresses on Amazon oddly enough.

I hope you can still find a dress that works lakegirl
I need a dress for E's baptism, which is still 2 months away but I have a feeling it will go by quickly. I guess I should probably order E's baptism gown soon too. I think I found one I like on etsy.
I am dreading going home, I hope it isn't another evening of E crying for an hour and a half. H mentioned bbqing dinner tonight since it's so warm. Yay.
peaseblossom55, how did E get on with the nanny yesterday? I hope the crying wasnt related.
We're also BBQing tonight, making the most of the warm and light evenings.
We're hanging at home most of today. H is just off. He was awake lots last night and had had a slight temperature for going on a week now. He's sniffly and has a cough too but not too bad.
I saw a meteor last night. It lit up the sky with a couple of big greenish flashes. DH didn't believe me until NASA confirmed!

bazinga, E is fine with the nanny. I don't know what the crying was about. We will see if it happens today and if it happens tomorrow when MIL is here with her.

We went on a field trip today to the Museum of African American Hisotry and Culture in D.C. I'm exhausted from all the walking (it's huge) but it was worth it; really powerful and very well organized.
B slept better (one 4 hour and one 3 hour stretch). Of course DS1 woke up three times during the 3 hour stretch. I just want both my children to sleep! I am so tired.

Both my kids have done this with me before. Evidently they'd be fine for mh/parents/inlaws but when I walked in they'd start crying. I like to think it's because they realized how much they love me. In reality they are probably punishing me for being gone 😂

Ha ha. So true. She hasn't done this until being left with the nanny, I don't know if it's random or what. I thought just being at work would be punishment enough....
Oh noooo bazinga that's awful. I'm worried it's going to be a bad tick season since the winter was mild. Big no thank you there.
MissDemeanor I vote yes. I was a whirlwind of productivity, projects, and cleaning this weekend. If I had been pregnant, it would definitely have been considered nesting.
lakegirl, I'm really hoping we caught it early and that it isn't a sign their flea meds aren't working thus season. I swear I dosed then just before our trip and they're only 3 days overdue a dose so I'm surprised. All biting things seem to love me so i'm taking it as a good sign I've no bites yet. Yuk.
