Favorite Shows

What are your favorite TV shows? I need to find new stuff to watch. Bonus points if it can be binge watched on Netflix!

I watch quite a bit of TV, but my DVR is stacking up with stuff I watch with H.
Reign and The Catch, we were able to stay on top of The Walking Dead.
H and I also watch Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley.
My shows are Grey's and Scandal, but I'm current on those. I need something to watch during the day when I'm nauseous and can't move, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins just aren't doing it for me anymore.

Have you seen Call the Midwife? The first 5 seasons are available to binge on Netflix. And the current season is running now. That, Dexter, and Shameless are my top 3 to binge there. DH loves Friday Night Lights and Sons of Anarchy. Oh! And there are 2 seasons of Jane the Virgin on too!

Yes! I need to finish catching up on the current Jane The Virgin season.

I wanted to relive my high school / college years so I went back and binge watched Felicity and One Tree Hill - still loved them

My favorite shows these days are Chicago Fire and Madam Secretary. There are a ton of other shows that I watch but those are my favorites.

I'm amazed that Supernatural has been on for as long as it has been on and it still manages to hold my interest - there were one or two seasons in there that I disliked but the rest are pretty good.

I also loved Lost and will probably rewatch that some day.

Oh and my last recommendation would be Downton Abbey

Showtime which we don't have anymore- Homeland, but it is probably on Netflix. I should look.

OMG. How did I forget Gossip Girl. I've probably seen that more than any other show!

Penny Dreadful is a good time if you are into dark, syfy stuff (think Underworld but with more blood).

Doctor Who is a favorite in our house.

I loved Breaking bad, sons of anarchy, shameless, and the OA.

We're halfway through the Path right now and watching the new season of Better Call Saul on Mondays.

And I'm so obsessed with GOT I cannot wait for it to come back on.

And Big Brother! That's a huge one for me!

I love Teen Mom. And I'll watch the Batchelor (never seen the Bachelorette) but it's not one of my favorites.

Never watched any of the real housewives, but I just started watching the 1st season of the Beverly Hills one (only on episode 4). I like it so far.

Oh and Westworld! Can't forget about that! I want to rewatch season 1 cause I felt so lost by the end of it.

I watch a lot of geek and sundry(channel) on youtube. Specifically tabletop(series) which is about different board games played by actors and critical role(series) which follows a group of voice actors playing dungeons and dragons. The cast of critical role played an episode with vin diesel. So thats cool.

Miss Killjoy definitely not the only one lol. Syfy is watched a lot here. I also routinely talk about parks n rec in everyday conversations.

All-time favourites: Firefly, Buffy/Angel, Veronica Mars, Dexter (if you pretend the last season didn't exist), Jessica Jones, Archer, Community, Parks and Rec, Stranger Things, Black Mirror

Binge-watch worthy murder mysteries: The Fall, Broadchurch, The Killing, Durham County, Hotel Beau Séjour

Stuff I liked enough to recommend: Call the Midwife (but maybe not the best choice if pregnant or immediately postpartum...), Bates Motel, Doctor Who, Grace and Frankie, iZombie, Love, Suits, House of Lies

I always forget Buffy/Angel and Firefly whenever I make TV lists!

Gravity Falls is a fantastic "kid" show. The 8 year old, 3 year old, and DH and I all love it. Our family actually did GF themed costumes for Halloween last year.

Scooby Doo Mystery Inc. is also really good and on Netflix!
