We went out for dinner and dessert last night with friends, after drinks with DH's coworkers. It was so nice to have a little break. We used to be so social and I've been missing it.

Good morning ladies! G and I are hanging out in her room, playing. I am also watching the giraffe give birth. Isn't my life exciting? Today I am either going out with a friend or my sister is coming over. I am unsure of which is going to happen. Tomorrow I am going to my aunts house for Easter and I am pretty excited about it.
Why does it take men so long to poop? Seriously. I paid bills, folded a load of laundry as well and parented while he was in there. Like...over a half hour! What the heck! If I was in there that long I'd get 20 questions about what was going on.
McBgg21 My cousin did the same thing. Less than 2 years apart. She organized it herself. She also texted me the day everyone got my shower invites to tell me that hers was going to be the same day.
M fell down our stone front steps this morning ☹️ She's fine but I was shaking. I tell her to hold a hand and she always tries not to and today she tripped on the top stair and rolled down. So scary.

G was being so sweet during lunch. She happily ate and answered me when I asked her questions. Then when she was done she let me wipe her face and change her for nap time. If only she was this sweet all the time. Lol
She slept for a whopping half hour. Today will be fun. MH will be home in an hour and a half. Then maybe I will go out alone for a bit.
Ughhh. Sorry.
Thanks. She is still in her crib. She has a minimum of 20 more minutes in there. I am hanging on to a tiny tiny hope that she will fall asleep again. Probably not though.
W fell asleep in the car on the way to the park so naptime started at 2, she's still sleeping. Bedtime will be interesting.
That park is truly amazing. It's completely accessible so that all kids can play regardless of physical abilities. There's tons of houses and "stores" that are connected by roads, with signs that included Braille. W loved it just as much as I did.
She did walk in front of an older girl that was swinging. It mostly scared W because I was able to pull her just as they collided. The girl was bawling thinking she hurt W. I felt so bad. It was so sweet she was so concerned.

linny12 Baby headbutts are awful! Hopefully it heals quickly.
robotpcr That's so scary! So glad M is ok. I am so paranoid about J doing the same. He has no fear of stairs and can navigate them pretty well but it's bound to happen one of these days.
Of course the night I decided to put M in short sleeve pjs she immediately ripped her sleep sack off and then tossed aside the blanket I put over her. The kid might freeze tonight.
I have all the sadz tonight. I miss my family. I want to move.
Hugs mama. I want you to move too. Any leads on that anymore?
Aw, thanks friend. Some. DH has a ton of feelers out so it's just waiting for the right thing to come along. I think when it happens it'll happen fast but in the meantime it's just waiting. I'm fine most the time, just the end of a visit is hard, ya know.

The Leafs are in double OT. I should be watching because this is only our second playoffs in like 13 years but I'm tired. And I like my bed. And my kid has already woken up twice since he went to bed. Does not bode well.
