bwisco123 Stay safe! I love thunderstorms too but I agree that the purple spots can be worrisome.
Thanks! The crazy thing is I've checked all of our major news stations and the weather channel and we haven't even been issued a thunderstorm warning!?! Crazy. Because its for sure going to storm hard!
That's weird!
I've got our windows open a touch since it was/is so nice out and I can hear the clouds moving and things brewing out there. I would love a storm but only if J sleeps through it. Lol

Hi! I'm camping out on the couch because our neighbour has friends over and they're playing the guitar and singing in his backyard. I can hear it in our room and the guest room is even closer. DH would go complain if I wanted, but this is just easier.

Hugs, robotpcr. It sucks when family leaves -- I always say it's worse to be left than to be leaving, but none of it is great. I so hope something comes up that will allow you guys to make the move! Living away from your family is hard.
Happy Easter!!! It's pretty much over here now. I let DS have chocolate for breakfast but he didn't have any more for the rest of the day. By tonight though he was not a happy boy. Even after a 3 hour nap he just seemed tired. He ate 1 bite of roast pork and 3/4 of a small cob of corn and then just wanted to cuddle. Hope he's feeling better by morning.
What I learned today: I could have just put one Annie's bunny cookie in each egg and given W a basket full of just eggs and she's be perfectly happy, haha!
She did eventually notice the doll and birdhouse we can paint, the puzzle and book have gone untouched so far.
I think W broke my nose with a headbutt. Good news is my mom thinks it looks straighter, so free nose job?
Hoping the swelling and bruising go away for tomorrow.
Augh!! I still have a small goose egg on my browbone from a head butt on Wednesday. It hurts too!!! It even made me sort of light headed right after it happened. Why must he fling himself backwards?!??!!
Happy Easter! The bunny didn't visit our house since J still doesn't really get the concept and we've been away all weekend. But he did visit my parents house so we're going there for lunch and an egg hunt. J will be able to search all over my parents yard for eggs and treats with his cousins. Bonus, my oldest niece is 13 so she will help him and we'll just get to watch the shenanigans.
S and I are still in the motherland. Our 3 day hiking/camping adventure ended yesterday. No real Easter celebration today....I find that so odd. This whole religious pilgrimage takes place SPECIFICALLY during Holy Week....and then in the actual Resurection day nothing?!?!
Also, Easter eggs or hunts or even baskets are not a thing here....we'll be going to a water park later for a couple of hours.
I'm sure my sister and parents will have an Easter basket waiting for S when we get home. I think I'll suggest an Easter Do-Over once I get home.
And LOL at H today. C was so excited when I mentioned 'Surprise' that she dashed down the stairs before I had finished cleaning up pjs and crib et. H was outsidebwith the dog and upset he missed her first reaction and says 'she's not even 2 yet...how come you can't control her?'
Bahahahahaha. Bahahaha. Control a toddler? Ok....
Oh jeez. You had about as much control over that as I did over my kid yelling "QUIET!" and "ALICE, COME ON!" during the most quiet parts of church. Which is to say, basically none. I got some side eyes and it's just like...there are hundreds of people here. It's a billion degrees. There is no easy way to quickly duck out for a few minutes because PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. And then those same people getting all huffy when I try to politely squeeze by to remove my loud toddler...sigh. Can't win.
We did an egg hunt in our yard and DS loved it. I wasn't sure if he would get it. I didn't put anything in the eggs. He doesn't even know they open. We tried to wear him out this morning because he needs to take an early nap so we can go to my Grandfather's to eat this afternoon. My cousin's M15 baby will be there so they should have fun.

seventythree. R and I had to leave during the readings because he could not sit still last night. H can to the back of church just before communion and I said I am ready to go home. Maybe next year.

Hi. I'm exhausted! We had a great day at my aunts house. We ate so much food. G and my cousins daughter had an egg hunt and they played outside. It was awesome. I got there at 1 and didn't get home until 8:30. It was one of the best easters I have had in a long time.
We had a great day! My cousin did an egg hunt for the 3 kiddos at my Grandad's. The two M15ers just opened the eggs and dumped the jellybeans out on the ground haha. They had fun though. The only negative was that DS wouldn't eat because he just wanted to play. He fell asleep immediately after I put him in bed.

Well I spoke to soon. My Easter just went to shit. I am 99% sure I lost my wallet. It had my ID and all of my credit and debit cards. I am sooooo fucked.
