We're having Easter at the inlaws. I'm excited because mil still makes us Easter baskets with our favorite candy. Plus, ham. Gimme all the ham. It should be fun because ds will actually understand an egg hunt this year.
Mh looked me up and down this morning and told me I was looking good. I shall reward him later for his compliment.
Morning! I'm cleaning up the house and putting outgrown/winter clothes away for both girls, cue tears. Tonight MH and I are going out with his siblings and their wives/SOs, I'm excited. Plus we can walk so I can have a few drinks.
I want something to firm up my mom belly since I have all these dressy events coming up. Do we think the $11 pregnancy belly band would suffice or should I invest in spanx?

I'm at the eye doctor for a following up in my contacts. I need to run to target after as well. Need to run to BRU later our conversion kit for the crib finally arrived.

No plans, we're not really religious. DH has to work today. Tomorrow we'll do a backyard egg hunt for DS. My mom sent small gifts for both kids. Maybe we'll do bubbles in the back yard today. Or a walk with both kids. Am I that ambitious?

I tried spanx for the same reason last time around and didn't even find it helped much TBH. I think it's more for smoothing lumps and bumps. That being said, try them both on if you're able to return them.

I SURVIVED FLYING ALONE WITH BOTH BOYS! They were both perfect little angel babies. I received so many compliments.
My mom handled both kids this morning and I slept in. It was glorious. My brother and I are currently on our way to the zoo with them. We will probably dye eggs later. Tomorrow we have brunch and an Easter egg hunt at the country club my parents belong to.

Boo. Wearing one of my spandex nursing tanks will probably to the trick then. I'm not trying to hide it, just make it a tad less jiggly.

That's so great heybulldog56! Enjoy your trip! I'm already stressing about taking a 3 year old and 10 month old on planes. Though we'll be strapping DS into his convertible this time.

I'm in the same panic mode but with a crazy 4yr old. Plus, we have an additional 3hr drive once we get to the final airport.

Snacks and a plethora of tv shows on my iPhone are what kept DS1 peaceful for the two hour flight silvermelody and @thelittleresm. Also, I was not above bribing him with fruit snacks if necessary.

thelittleredm, DC, you say? Staying long enough for an impromptu J17 meet up?
Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
I am up with my mom and both of my babies. DS1 ran around the house and found all the eggs we dyed. We left a few for my 23 year old brother to find when he gets here (my mother insisted). DS1 and I split a chocolate bunny for breakfast and now we are watching tv. Church, brunch, and Easter egg hunt later.
Happy Easter everyone!!! Enjoy the day we just got to brunch and I'm shocked we are early.
I feel like I get a gold star 🌟 any time I show (with my family somewhat put together) up within 20 minutes of when I'm supposed to be there. So to be early? Big props!!

It's supposed to rain later today so we're planning to do our backyard egg hunt in an hour. Eggs are filled (M&Ms and puffs), I need to go clean up dog poo. Baby is went back to bed but should be waking up right around then.
I didn't do a basket for DS. All my friends on FB are posting these huge baskets for their under-4 kiddos and it just seems like overkill. We try to keep sugar treats to a minium and he doesn't need toys. Maybe I'm just a party pooper.
DS1 has just found his easter basket and is occupied with a new jigsaw puzzle. H slept late after a 3.30-5.30 am party but thankfully went back to sleep until 7.30 so we're up later than usual. Friends are coming over for a bbq and Easter egg hunt so I should really be showered and dressed already. Lunch may be later than originally planned...
silvermelody, easter baskets/gifts are not a thing in the UK so this is the first time we've done one for DS (because he laughs about this stuff from his friends! ). It was very minimal and in years to come will stay that way!

heybulldog56, That would be so cool! We fly out there in September but where we're going is a 3hr drive, I guess. I'm still not sure where the final destination is, honestly. The day we fly back, we'll have about 7.5 hours between when we have to drop off the rental car and when our flight leaves.
Add me to the ham over turkey list. But I like Thanksgiving sides better. Mh's family does a combo Polish and cold Easter. So everything is cold and the sides are kielbasa, potato salad, Mac salad, and deviled eggs.

lakegirl, my family does kielbasa, too. My mom always made it, but she passed away a few years ago, so now I make it. I made it for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was delicious. I made it Easter and it was... Very not good. Sigh.
