All week long the big was talking about getting candy in his Easter eggs. I had a few toys in eggs in his basket though, which he was super excited about. So this afternoon when we had the outside egg hunt he started out sad, then moved to pissed, then moved to tears when he kept finding candy filled eggs. He only wanted the mini toys. He actually yelled, not more candy! I mean, WTH. 😂
And the little is refusing bedtime tonight. He's up in his crib crying. 😔

That's so funny! I only had six eggs with candy/fruit snacks in them because last year the kids had meltdowns because I wouldn't let them eat all the candy they found. I figured this way they could eat it all and not be total disasters. All the other eggs had socks (it reminded me of the Leggs pantyhose), stick on earrings, stickers or hair clips. The kids ate all the candy plus more at Mil's house and missed naps, but surprisingly not total disasters.
Happy Easter, guys. I'm so not ready to go to work tomorrow.

Those of you familiar with pink eye either yourselves or the LO, is cipro drops one of the abx used to treat it? I have a brand new bottle of it and I'd love to skip the clinic and another scrip if I can use this.
