Milestones: She's started to stand unassisted for a few seconds at a time. Usually when we give her food that she wants to hold with two hands or when she puts her arms up for us to pick her up. So not much, but her balance is definitely getting better!
Challenges: Naps. Less than a month ago she napped a total of 5-6 hours a day. Now she's down to maybe 2 hours a day. She seems to do alright with it for the most part, but some nights are really rough.
Funny/cute story: She hates the grass. We've been hanging out outside on the picnic blanket a lot this weekend and I had some graham crackers out there we were snacking on, but she kept wanting more so since she wouldn't touch the grass I threw them a few feet off the blanket so she would leave them alone. Lol. Well, she say at the edge of the blanket for about 3-4 minutes touching the grass and promptly wiping her hand off. Then she apparently got up enough courage to go for it and went and got the crackers! When she got them she was so proud of herself. She sat up waving the bag all around above her head and just giggling. It was so cute.
How are you? Not great. But I'll get there.
QOTW: Do you own any pets? If so tell us all about them! Nope. I do not like animals. No thank you.

Age: 8 months
Milestones: rocking on his hands and knees and has finally got the hang of sitting up unassisted without toppling over when he reaches for something!
Challenges: N teeth still. They seem to hurt him on and off so the bad night always surprise me.
Funny/cute story: He is getting the hang of kisses and when I pick him up from DC he grabs my face and gives me a big slobbery open mouth kiss.
How are you? tired, work is exhausting
QOTW: Do you own any pets? If so tell us all about them! We have 3 cats - Moana (she was named 10 years ago FTR), Sierra, and Kevin. We also just added a new puppy named Otis. He is a 4 month old vizsla mix who is still learning manners. He goes to Kinderpuppy class with H and DS1 next Thursday.
